UPDATED: NOV 2, 2009 Cask handpull at Blakes, Dover. Copper colour with thin white head. Quite a nice hop nose with some strawberry fruit. Some acids in mouth, with drying hop end. Quite a nice bitter. In fact it must have been nice as I ended up doing a session on it and enjoyed each fresh pint. Not too heavy but enough taste it keep you interested 3.4/5 Re-rate cask handpull at County Hotel, Ashford, Good biscuit malt, Decent yeast, some fruit but as a biscuity light bitter, this was excellent. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2006
Cask conditioned - handpump - Swan and Rushes - Leicester. A copper coloured bitter with some citrus hop aromas featuring lemon predominantly. The taste is also nicely hoppy with more lemon again. Quite dry and nicely tasty and clean. Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - OCT 8, 2004
Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London. Travlr (24826) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 27, 2015
Bright golden coloured body, in sublime condition, fine white head. Sulphury aroma. Juicy hop flavour with good bitter length. This was a good example of a good, yet unremarkable beer, scoring really well because it was in such good condition.
Cask at the source. Ear golden color, thick tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma is lightly floral and gerbal. Taste has herbal lemon.
