Review: 500ml of Gralsburg Export: ABV: 5.4% vol
The special beer that is cheaper than water, but as its actually German it is brewed according to those lovely purity laws we keep hearing about, so it cant be that bad, right?
On pour got a decent sized frothy head, with a nice golden beer appearance, looked very good.
Got absolutely nothing on the nose, zilch, nothing at all. On the second can, I did get some smells but again nothing to get too excited about. Got a bad smell like dishwater and also a very metallic smell. Too sweet, too yeasty.
Not much taste at all, big mouthfuls of nothingness, You are waiting for a taste, but it never comes.
Ok there is a slight hoppy bitterness, and you can get the sweet malts, but overall not much there of substance.
Bit difficult to drink, as its not smooth, and can get a taste of light washing up liquid, its not a nice beer to drink at all. Very soapy, and a real struggle to drink. Overall a big NO! King_Alex_II (1227) - SWITZERLAND - APR 24, 2016
Blind test of swiss lagers. Orangy color with foam layer. Malty nose. The taste is quite malty and a little dusty. Calm and malty aftertaste. kto (1830) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 16, 2015
pours clear golden colour with a frothy white head.
metallic malty aroma. flavour grains, biscuit, grass. quite a bit of meh. caribou43 (1318) - Lausanne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 24, 2015
Translucide. Mousse blanche peu persistante.
Maltage biscuit, petit houblonnage citrus.
En bouche assez caractérisée au maltage. Entrée en bouche plutôt sucrée avec ensuite une bonne petite amertume d’houblon-citrus.
Un peu au-dessus des pale lager traditionnelles...

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2014 500ml can served in a Weizen.
A: Pours a pale yellow clear color forming a big white fluffy and bubbled white head. Good retention and many lacings left
S: Sweet grains, mainly. Very biscuity. Citrus hops
T: Slightly sweet upfront. Very biscuity in the mouth too. Sweet malts, Lager yeasts. Nice stingy citrus hoppy bitternerness. In overall, a mild sweet beer
M: Very light body body. Good carbonation. Smooth texture. Grainy mild bitter aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. An average German Lager, which means: very fair beer!

Look: clear grayish-gold, white frothy head.
Aroma: stronger than usual malt character, some bread/biscuit, a little grassy notes.
Taste: malty/grainy - a little dustier than the clean aroma, mild grassy bitterness. Some CO2 acidity. trapped (3922) - New York, TURKEY - JUN 24, 2014
Can. Pale yellow with large foamy white head that dissipates quickly, yeasty aroma, sweetish taste, low carbonation, abrupt finish. Quite generic. Bine (22) - SWITZERLAND - APR 20, 2014
The punks favorite drink of Switzerland. Good for the wallet, bad for the brain! Good color and foam but just drinkable. Good for getting drunk for cheap. The taste change from time to time. crlnts (401) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 26, 2014
Cheapest beer around in Switzerland. Gralsburg probably rhymes with hangover in Swiss German, at least in my world. "Not awful" is probably the best way to describe it. No bullshit about its hopiness or its body - this is crap beer.
