Can. Hazy golden color. Muted nose of citrus hops. There are nice features here, with juicy hops and a clean malt body, but it all tastes stale. I’m not sure if it’s a mild IPA, or old, since the can isn’t dated. Ok as it is, but maybe better fresh? JStax (7309) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - SEP 28, 2012
Poured from a can received from storminorman. Thanks man! Pours a hazy copper with a white head of foam that dissipates at about an average rate and leaves just a thin foam on the top of the beer. The aroma is very citrusy and doughy with a resinous characteristic sneaking in there. Taste is very sweet for an IPA. I do like it. The bitterness kicks in about halfway through and remains steadfast through the finish. I like this beer pretty well. Don’t quite get the low score. dnstone (3701) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - SEP 28, 2012
Golden-copper in color with a light, light haze and very light, white head. Moderately malty meets floral hopped aroma. A bit sweet with a breadiness and slightly floral-hopped, a bit soapy taste. Jow (4169) - Orlando, Florida, USA - SEP 24, 2012
My favorite cam from the variety pack and since my brother inlaw doesn’t like ipas they are all mine. Pours orange with nice fluffy head and pleasant tropical fruit aromas. Tastes plenty hoppy, with caramel, malt, citrus, pine and grapefruit. Dry on finish. FlacoAlto (4230) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 9, 2012
A vigorous pour into my Bruery Tulip produces a two finger thick, pale tan tinged head that leaves lots of lacing on the sides of my glass. The beer is a pale amber color that shows a brilliantly clear, bright copper / gold-tinged hue when held up to the light. The aroma is peppery, menthol like, with lots of pine, and a green woodiness, as well as notes of herbal grapefruit-zest, and a touch of tangelo zest. The end has aromas of cracker like malt and a hint of hay like grain.

The beer is fairly light bodied and quite quaffable. The beer has lots of tangelo zest, Curacao orange peel, nice lychee notes, and even some kumquat zest. A solid, but smooth bitterness gets a touch green and herbal in the finish, but the bitterness of this IPA is on the low side for an IPA. Slight menthol notes, a touch of pine, a definite woody peppery note, and a hint of hemp oil. There is a touch of malt character here, it contributes subtle notes of cracker like malt, and round pale malt flavors.
This is a nice IPA; it is interesting how herbal the nose is, but the flavor is much more fruit focused in its hoppiness. A pleasant surprise that I would be happy to drink a few more of. This drinks on the light side for an IPA, which is certainly nice, and I would guess that it isn’t much more than 6% abv.

Can. Medium orange amber with floaties and an average off white head. No lace. Aroma is quite malty, bread and caramel, with soft piney hops. The palate delivers the same in flavour and balance. This checks all the boxes for an IPA, but doesn’t really excite. It’s okay but not great. Ratman197 (15624) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - APR 11, 2012
Can poured a clear golden amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, citrus and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, light grapefruit and a hint of pine with a crisp dry moderatly bitter finish. onystrom (1334) - Magellan Hunter! - Skanderborg, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2012
