Sampled in Williams, AZ, but in a bottle. Pours a nice rich clear golden with a very nice small but retentive white head. Aroma is caramel malt and mild spice. Taste is delicious. There is sweet caramel malt, buttered biscuits, some mild grassiness and minimal hop bite. Smooth, easy drinking. Very good, but a bit more like a marzen.

12 oz single can from Total Wine & More - Gilbert, AZ. Pale, pretty clear, golden appearance with a white head and light lacing. Mild aroma of grains and light spicy hops. Similar flavor, mild malt sweetness and light bitterness. Light body with a thin watery feel. A little bland and boring but drinkable.

Light grain nose and light hop bite. More American than German for sure. A bit more hop than the wheat but similar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the hotel in Tempe.

Figured I might as well try this Arizona "classic" while I was here. Light orange pour, modest head. Pretty clean lager nose, mild hopping, subtly sweet, very easy to drink. Nothing special, but Im enjoying this glass.
