2.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a clear copper with reasonable light-tan head. Caramel, nutty aromas but the taste is slightly less so and the palate is disappointingly thin. Clean finish.

This pours from 12oz bottle a clear brown with a very small head of foam that shrinks to just a ring around the glass almost immediately.
The smell is very tough to discern as it is so light. Maybe a bit of caramel malt. I'm just really guessing as it's *that* light.
The taste has some light sweet malt flavour with a slight nuttiness and just..well....not much else is there. I can't put a description on it beyond what I've said. The flavour here is very lacking and the mouthfeel is very thin. This is not something I'd buy again as it's average at best in every category... I thought this was perfectly legit. It had a bright toffee and caramel flavor at the start and had a rather rich consistency (albeit within the range expected of a brown ale), reflecting its sweetness. Not long-lasting in the finish, but still fine. At Sloopy’s in Grand Lake. zoucrew102 (2104) - - APR 26, 2014
Bottle. Light aroma of caramel and toffee malt as well as notes of honey and nuts. Pours medium brown with a thin tan head and no lacing. Caramel and toffee malt with sweet honey and a hint of nuttiness. Finishes smooth with the honey sweetness lingering on the palate. Pretty good brown but is a little watery at the end. ads135 (5031) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - DEC 11, 2013
A bland and unassuming brown ale. A little too much honey for my tastes. Medium body and a watery palate. ajnepple (7065) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 5, 2013
12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s into my Funkwerks glass. Deep, dark brown with almost no head. Aroma and flavor of toasted malts, nuts, toffee, caramel, earth and brown sugar. Mild sweetness and light bitterness. Light to medium body with a soft, thin feel.

Bottle, brought back for me by Grippitis. Thanks buddy! Deep copper amber, nutty caramel malt profile, husky aroma, but thinner on the palate than the aroma would suggest. Simple but pleasing. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - JUL 23, 2013
Bottle; poured a dark cola brown with a khaki head. Aroma of nuts, caramel and toffee. Flavor and palate were quite thin; some sweetness, caramel, fruit and nuts. not great alexandersh (196) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUL 23, 2013
Bottle; poured a brownish color. Flavor had a decent nutty element; aroma was similar. Drinkable, but a little lacking. ogiergrove (120) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Mildly nutty aroma. Nice clear dark red-brown color. Almost no head out of the bottle, but not flat. Medium bodied with some lingering roasty cereal notes.
