3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The last bottle in the store when I picked it up in Halifax, this one made it to Ontario for consumption. Dark golden body coats the glass nicely (3+). Sweet caramel notes in a pleasant apple aroma. Flavour is quite sweet with just enoough tart acidity to balance it out a bit. Full bodied syrupy palate is pleasant on the tongue.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy amber colour. Still. Straightforward brown sugar and apple skin notes. Very sweet, almost like ice cider, though certainly not that complex. Soft and rounded, with light caramel accents. Decent dessert cider.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I’ve had this many times, but never got around to rating it until now. 375 ml bottle. Deep golden colour. Aroma is sweet and intense showing baked apple pie, light acidity in back, brown sugar and even some breadiness. Chewy sweet texture, light alcohol and a tingly spiciness in back. Well balanced desert cider.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Item #9 at June 2006 Toronto cider/mead -fest - bottle from jerc. Poured clear amber. Aroma of apple, slightly vinous, not too sweet. Taste of apple, tart, a bit boozy with quite a bit of dry white wine (soave) - very tangy. Mouthfeel was alcoholic, sweet, flat, pretty thickly syrupy - very nice, excellent balance between sweet and tart, good mouthfeel; perhaps a tad strong with the alcohol.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep amber-gold, no carbonation. Lots of caramel, apple pie, and spices. Some alcohol apparent. Flavour is a bit more subdued, quite sweet, with wine-like notes alongside the apple and fewer spices showing up. Very full-bodied, quite sticky, which leads to a lengthy finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (375ml) shared with garthicus, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Pours an oily-looking, deep clear golden-orange with no head -- it looks great! Sweet and tart aroma of apples. Flavour is sweet and tastes of tart apples, of course, along with some alcohol and some hints of dry white wine and spices. Oily mouthfeel. Very good stuff, I really enjoyed it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared with a bunch of folks at Doug’s - courtesy of jerc. Light caramel-orange colour. Warm, sweet nose of caramel-covered apples. Warm, sweet flavour of apple juice with a hint of something stronger - gin? vodka? - seems strange, but it really works.
