Boutip (6533) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 22, 2011
Bottle: Poured a deep gold color cider with aroma of sweet apple notes. Taste is dominated by sweet apple pie with limited complexity, i.e. no apple pie notes and sugar note are pretty straightforward. Still very enjoyable though maybe not as complex as I would like it to be.

mabel (9787) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 11, 2009
[2103-20090419] 375mL bottle. Sweet apple sugars and thick syrup aroma. Clear, amber orange body with no head. Sweet fresh cold apple flavour. Medium body. Well-integrated, very tasty, and nicely hidden alcohol.

garthicus (2945) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 20, 2009
Shared by Jerc and Mabel with Blankboy and I. Appearance: ’Has legs’ clear orange, no head. Aroma: Cooking apples, alcohol, candy. Flavour: WOW, bitter, sweet, bitter, sweet and bitter again! Honey, alcohol, very intense, I love it!

blankboy (7808) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 5, 2009
Bottle (375ml) shared with garthicus, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Pours an oily-looking, deep clear golden-orange with no head -- it looks great! Sweet and tart aroma of apples. Flavour is sweet and tastes of tart apples, of course, along with some alcohol and some hints of dry white wine and spices. Oily mouthfeel. Very good stuff, I really enjoyed it.

CapFlu (5132) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 4, 2008
(375ml bottle) Sampled at Ciderwinder 5 in Victoria. Obtained from OKBeer. Great deep burnt orange colour. Tart and sweet nose. Flavour is very sweet pear with an apple-cinnamon finish. Slightly above average.

3.6
Mandrake (14) - Chester, Nova Scotia, CANADA - DEC 12, 2007
Deep amber-gold, no carbonation. Lots of caramel, apple pie, and spices. Some alcohol apparent. Flavour is a bit more subdued, quite sweet, with wine-like notes alongside the apple and fewer spices showing up. Very full-bodied, quite sticky, which leads to a lengthy finish.

I’ve had this many times, but never got around to rating it until now. 375 ml bottle. Deep golden colour. Aroma is sweet and intense showing baked apple pie, light acidity in back, brown sugar and even some breadiness. Chewy sweet texture, light alcohol and a tingly spiciness in back. Well balanced desert cider.

joeycapps (1468) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 19, 2006
Clear, dark amber w/ some small, frothy bubbles . Aroma of apples, cheese, caramel & burnt toast. Thick, chewy feel. Apple pie & cream cheese flavour.

DougShoemaker (3146) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 14, 2006
Apple liqueur aroma, light copper, taste is sticky apple sauce, kind of sweet, ordinary, save for the pretentious word in the description, what the heck is cegape? Thanks jerc.

GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2006
Bottle shared with a bunch of folks at Doug’s - courtesy of jerc. Light caramel-orange colour. Warm, sweet nose of caramel-covered apples. Warm, sweet flavour of apple juice with a hint of something stronger - gin? vodka? - seems strange, but it really works.
