A true classic. Refreshing, crisp and pure lager. A great beer with big flavour brewed in Gippsland for the farmers in the high country. Perfect for every Aussie occasion.

Bottle from gift pack in English pint glass. A nice amber brew with modest head and aroma. The taste is more broad than the run-of-the-mill lager and the palate a bit more complex. Even a bit of honey in the finish.

330ml bottle into pint glass. Distant hop nose. Hazy amber beer with solid two-finger white head. Carbonation is light and fine. Oily texture, grainy taste. Finish is dry and grainy. Fairly standard thirst-quencher.

From a 330ml bottle on 6/10/2013. Pours a slightly cloudy orange golden with a small head. Has a modest aroma featuring fruit and malt. In the mouth this has a lot of typical English bitter to it (should be classed a bitter not a pale lager imo). Its very malty (bread and toffee), with some fruity notes, and quite a dry, lingering medium bitterness. Has a medium body and carbonation. Pretty solid brew.

Bottle- Pours a bronze color with a small head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of malt sweetness with a bit of citrus and grain.Taste of caramel sweetness abd a bit of grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly moderate body, smooth with moderate carbonation. Decent beer that goes down easy. Reminds me of an English Bitter.

Nice aroma on this, almost citrusy. Flavor is initially light citrus then moves on to some stone fruit. Finish is a nice medium bitterness. Would make a good session beer with a lot more going on than your average macro affair.

Bottle (330ml). A hazy dark golden pour with a minimal white head. Nose is strong sweet honey malts and little else (perhaps some bready notes). Flavour is malty and syrupy sweet with a light hop bitterness. Palate is medium bodied with an oily texture and average carbonation. It is certainly maltier than your average Aussie "premium lager" but not to my taste (eg. too sweet, lacks a dry hop presence, strangely unrefreshing).
