Malty aroma in a traditional scotch ale style. Pours copper brown with a dense honeycomb head. Malt up front with lovely christmas pudding and dried dates. Super soft mouth feel. Warmth from the alcohol warms the cockles during the long sweet malty finish. bergstaden (3200) - Røros, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2016

Bottle, shared by bergstaden. Brown in color, unclear and with a small, dense, dark beige head. It’s lightly oxidized, with some alcohol and quite a lot of toffee and caramel sauce. Some dark dried fruits too. It’s full-bodied and lightly warming on the palate, with a low and pleasant carbonation level. Some pleasant bitterness too. Lasting finish. A bit heavy on the bitterness, but sure a fine and tasteful one. 151010 Geokkjer (7647) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 10, 2015

I’ve walked past this beer for years on the dan murphys shelves, so I thought I’ll buy one and give it a go. Poured the beer into a snifter glass, roasted aromas of coffee, chestnuts and chocolate, flavours to match, perfect beer on a mild Brisbane winter evening DavidAust (274) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUN 28, 2015
Oh yeah! Great beer if you like malt and sweetness. Great example of this kind of ale - in fact best of style I have had the privilege to try. Will be purchasing again. But only in Winter :-)
