many samples, many different ways. clear golden with purple highlights (sometimes). huge fruit nose. berry flavour with the base beer underneath. not a bad fruit beer. garthicus (2945) - Dublin, IRELAND - AUG 27, 2011
Appearance: Slight hazy orange. Small white head. Aroma: light blackberry, strawberry. Flavour: Light blackcurrant, nicely fruity, not much more to say other than it’s a pleasant summer beer. Nice.

tap: Dark orange pour with a thin head.
aroma was berry, wheat, light clove spice too.
Flavour was american wheat standard with a light berry sweetness. Not too overpowering though. Body was a bit light. robinvboyer (4754) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 16, 2011
On tap at c’est what.
Nice fruity sweet berry aroma. Pretty straight forward, not much else going on, but im impressed at how it doesnt seem too artificial, its quie inviting. The flavor is more kf the same, with a touch of sourness, its not a cloying sweet mess like more fruit beers. Super refreshing, im very impresed. mabel (9787) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 10, 2011
[3765-20110621] Tap. Fruity yeast aroma. Slightly hazy, medium orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head and some floaties. Soapy fruity yeast cream flavour up front has an odd shaving cream aftertaste. Medium body. Odd cream notes but an interesting attempt, just not hitting the right notes for me today. (6/4/4/3/10) 2.7

Draught at Gambrinus. Murky reddish/brown with an average white foam. Artificial nose of mixed berries, perfume, penny candies from my childhood. Good bitterness with medium sweetness is pleasing. Quite fruity overall but I don’t get anything that says blackberry. The fruit is very artificial as well. Medium bodied, refreshing fruity finish. I love GR beers but it seems their fruit beers just don’t push my buttons. JoeMcPhee (9554) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2011
Pale golden pour with a touch of haze. Fruity aroma of blackberry and light spicy wheat. It’s decent, but not terribly innovative.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2011 500mL bottle from the brewery. Pours a weird muddy reddish brown with no head. Aroma is like banana, popsicle, almost woody, some blackberry. Flavour is dull and yeasty at first but quickly gets very sweet with some berry flavour, but the dominant aspect here is the caramel toffee malt sweetness. Very sweet but not cloying, rounded out with some dryness that doesn’t provide balance. Medium body due to the yeast. Goes down super easy on a hot afternoon. Decent, but definitely the weirdest beer I’ve ever had from GRB jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 26, 2011
2011-06-21. Strong blackberry aroma, strikes me as seeming like extract but I do not know if that is the case. Bit of wheat. 6+ Flavor is similar, berry fruit, has notes reminiscent of extract or lollipop like berry character, but is not unpleasant. Wheaty undercurrent, light bitterness. 6+ Average body. Okay, drinkable but not particularly complex. I am curious to know if they actually used a fruit extract or if I am inferring to much from the taste.
