This bock poured a nice amber colour with big head of off white foamy. Scents include ripe fruit, malt, and bread. First sip was smooth with medium/ light carbonation and is a little watery. Flavours of ripe fruit and malt most prodominant. Finish is slightly hoppy with a light bitter end.
bottle from a friend. poured a golden brown with a off white head. aroma toffee, caramel, some hops. flavor caramel, a little citrus, bread the 2 beers I had from this brewer did not impress me. TheKeywork (61) - Sudbury, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 21, 2015
Full bodied yet oddly watery at the end. A refreshing summer beer but it would have been better with an aftertaste that stuck around. superspak (6015) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JUN 10, 2015
500 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 3/5/2015. Pours slightly hazy dark orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, brown bread, nuttiness, raisin, plum, light roast, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt, earthy hops, and light fruity yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, brown bread, nuttiness, raisin, plum, light roast, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, brown bread, nuttiness, light roast, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of dark/bready malt, earthy hops, and light fruity yeast flavors; with great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a very nice maibock style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of dark/bready malt, earthy hops, and light fruity yeast flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering. RhetoricalAns (973) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 6, 2015
500 mL bottle. Cloudy brown pour, thin tan head, no retention really. Aroma of toasted malt, spice and some darker fruit. Taste is the dark fruit, raisins, toffee. medium body, little bit sticky. Raistlin (461) - London, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 30, 2015
It has this metallic after taste that just throws the whole beer off. Really bland and flat. No carbonation to liven it up at all. Would never drink it again.

Pours golden brown with minimal head. Not much aroma. Tastes of malt with malty raisin on the finish. Just fine. Johnsense (1755) - - NOV 9, 2014
Golden pour, monstrous head, like 90 percent head. Toffee, bitter hops in the aroma. Slightly astringent, fruity, grainy, metallic aftertaste. Not recommended radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 5, 2014
500ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Golden-orange in colour with a very thin white head, very light lacing. The aroma is of wheat, toffee, bread. The flavour is fruity, some biscuts and toasted grains, herbal, light spice. Lightly sweet mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium carbonation. Finishes long, some sweetness. A wonderful beer, quite clean. ILduce (285) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 2, 2014
Bottle @LCBO: cloudy brown with slim chance of any head. Although, carbonation is decent. Nose comprised of citrus and darkened fruits, toast, and hops. Taste is sweet caramel with fruit and malt. Thick mouthfeel with a nice bitter end. Great on a fall day after raking the leaves. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 27, 2014
Pours a clear golden with a medium offwhite head that clings quite well to the glass and leave impressive lacing. Nose is of fruits, spices, raisins and something I’m not quite sure I can pinpoint but it is slightly off. Grass on a wet dog maybe? Taste is acidic, green apples, maybe some raisins, but definitely full of acetaldehyde. Body is light, carbonation medium-high (a bit more than that even) and you get more green apples in the finish. Overall this wasn’t good but not horrible, there are some pretty obvious flaws in this one.
