Draft - Very light almost no aroma. Clear dark gold with a decent beige head. Vegetive and light bitterness. Not for me. Freaky_tiki (1331) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 16, 2014
First pour at Toronto Session 2014 is made with US hops the guy at the counter advises me. Ok. Those hops are slightly crusty & the malts are sweet. Decent. pootzboy (1788) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 11, 2013
On cask at the Bent Elbow - any resemblance between this and the Executioner’s APA GRB made for The Castle on King, is only in name. This is a cloying, butter scotchy (diacetyl) weakly hopped unfiltered mess - I didn’t finish mine - I hope this was a mistake and will sample it again if a new improved batch is brewed - why not go back to the original recipe? Caramelly and sweet nose with a lot if sweet estery character. Chewy and very under hopped. Butterscotch/diacetyl and under attenuated sticky malt. Meh.

Cask at Volo’s 5th IPA Challenge. Pours a very dark amber with no head. Good looking beer but much too dark for the style. Aroma, unfortunately, of diacetyl. Watery flavour, not very hoppy. Syrupy mouthfeel. Not on style and not very good regardless.

A cognac like amber ale with no head. In aroma, sweet nutty malt with grassy hops. In mouth, a rather nutty malt with grassy hops, more like a nut brown.
