3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a transparent orange with a foamy white head. Aroma: Strong pumpkin spices: cinnamon, all-spice, cloves especially. Has a bit of a burnt scent to it. Faint hints of banana. Smells really dry and a bit unpleasant, despite the spices. Palate: medium bodied, very very fizzy, rather astringent, slightly dry finish, very very very long aftertaste. Taste: medium sweet at the start, then gets dry and spicy. Definitely a beer with a lot of pumpkin in it. Better than the pumpkin ales that taste just like lager.
Bottled. The body is clear ruby and the head is white. The aroma is very seeet, like bubble gum. The taste is decent, malty, but sweet. ChadPoole (478) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 4, 2016
Pours orange copper with a white head. Aroma and taste are pumpkin spice and malt. Almost ceamy body with a clean finish. Pretty good. Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 3, 2016
Cloudy dark golden color, with low activity. Slightly creamy beige 1 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with moderate lacing. Flavors of pumpkins, ginger, cinnamon, sweet grains, lemon, faint caramel and hops. Highly sugary, minimal bitterness, but the sharpness is good, and well spiced. Smooth full body with nice zesty carbonation. Light to medium strength finish, ending with a fruity pumpkin feel, gingerbread and red ale spices. Overall good quality craft. Tasty pumpkin flavor that is well intensified. Although a little flat, too oily, and missing some freshness.

Bottled from aj LCBO/Toronto/Canada. Overall a medium good pumpkin ale. Arome of pumkin, cinamon, spices. Not so nose piercing, rather mild. I wish it had more aroma power. Taste mirrors the aroma. Refreshing, pumpkinish. Not bad. Anytime again. ___Steve___ (71) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 17, 2016
Earthy, herbal, spice and licorice scents with pumpkin aroma. Orange rusty colour with thick white foamy head, filtered and lightly carbonated. Upfront with spice notes, dry nutmeg and vanilla followed by some woody licorice flavours. Clean, crisp and complex ale.

(Rating #6611) Raistlin (410) - London, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 26, 2015
Pours hazy orange amber with a small off-white head. The head fades to a thin cover and leaves a small amount of fine lace. On the nose, there are big notes of pumpkin and vanilla, along with typical fall spices, cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavour is mildly sweet and slightly spicy with huge pumpkin and spice notes. The finish introduces subtle hops and pale malts but the overall impression is of pumpkin. On the palate, it is medium in body with a smooth, creamy texture and average carbonation. Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy ginger, light nutmeg, cinnamon, light pumpkin, and a hint of butterscotch. It’s a slightly hazy golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a minimal film outlined by a very fine ring. The flavor starts with a hint of pumpkin. The finish has light-moderate ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a hint of butterscotch. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation.
Fruit/veg beers have to be the hardest to get right. And pumpkin might be the toughest of all. This one pours a clear caramel brown with a bit of big-bubble head. The nose is heavy on the pumpkin, as one would expect with allspice and a little clove-ish spice, with a dry-hay malt. The taste is lacking in balance. The pumpkin and spice comes in first with a little to much pie-ish-ness for me, followed by some astringent bitterness, all sitting on sweet hay malt back. Overall not my ideal.
