On tap at Stigg’s. Gold pour with a white head. Pine and citrus hops in the taste and aroma.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a semi-hazy copper to gold sort of color with a finger’s worth of eggshell white foamy head that died off at a nice pace. Some messy lace.
The aroma had some citrusy rind-like bitterness playing with a nice clean malt base.
The flavor somewhat blends between the malts and the hops in a semi-sweet sort of manner. Slidingly sweet hoppy/malt aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt good as projected by the brewer.
Overall, nicely done AIPA well worthy of having again.

This brew is a hazy copper-gold color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Citrus, hops and malt aromas. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, piney hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle. Poured clear copper color with an average to large frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. Very good brew.

Aroma up-front is a little lacking. Flavors of citrus fruits - primarily grapefruit with a touch of tangerine. Really smooth mid-palate. Finishes with flavors of citrus, some pine, and a little bitterness. Solid effort.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 6/8/2016. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright/juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Large amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, lemon/orange rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance. Moderate dryness from bitterness that increases through the glass; leading to some light lingering hop astringency, but it is not unpleasant. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and moderately creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a great IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright/juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, even with the aggressive/resinous bitterness. A very enjoyable offering.

can. Golden with one finger head. Medium body with light caramel malts. Moderate hops, both citrus and pine. Pretty average, but decent IPA.

Tap at the brewery. Aroma is sweat socks, semi-candied grapefruit, and light pine. Tastes a bit boring. Stale herbal hops, mild grapefruit and pine. Mild bitterness. Very low carb. Meh.
