I smelt this smell b4. One small finger of bubbly head. Red to light veary little carbination. Amber in front o me with lots of carbination. Smell is a hoppy beer kinda like a west coast ipa smell. Taste starts of a toffyish or caramelish maltyness but not alot of taste to the malt because the hops dominat this beer and take over quickly. Earthyness taste stays on tounge long and its a earthy light citrus hop taste. Later the cramel or tofee malt show a bit again. Hop heads would really be into this one perhaps. More for the hop head then the malt lover. Not great but not horrid. Cheers!

On cask @ Volo. Pours a dark orange with minimal head. Aroma of sweet fruits, diaper, and sweet bready malt. Flavor of bready malt, English pale malts, toffee, jam, sweet dark fruits, raisin. Kind of odd with a tart palate. Somewhat drinkable but I just didnt get this one. 6/4/6/3/11 [3.0/5]

Bottle from lcbo Niagara on the lake, bottled July 17, 2012. Pours dark amber tan hue with a silky looking tan head. Lacing coats the glass. Nose and taste of toast, pine, and nut. Medium body... More body than one would expect from a sub 5% abv.

From bottle, dark brown pour with a decent head. Earthy aroma, piney and some wholemeal toast. Nicely balanced flavour sweet malts but not clawing leading into fresh dense bitterness. Good un.

pours cloudy amber-red with a decent beige head, little retention. caramel and lightly toasted malts - some complexity and sweetness, grassy herbal hopping. dusty and earthy yeastiness, light pine and resin, short but fairly present citrusy finish. average carbonation, medium body. nice but too much caramel for me.

500 ml bottle from LCBO. Another very interesting beer by GLB. Pours an amber colour with a thin off white head. Full bodied, even at just 4.7%. Aromas of nuts, fruits. Very good.

Bottle - 500ml. Amber body with a thin off-white foamy/creamy head. Malty/hoppy aroma with brown sugar hints. Taste carries sweet and woody notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish.
