Bottle from lcbo Niagara on the lake, bottled July 17, 2012. Pours dark amber tan hue with a silky looking tan head. Lacing coats the glass. Nose and taste of toast, pine, and nut. Medium body... More body than one would expect from a sub 5% abv. radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 6, 2007
Deep copper-amber in colour, thin beige coloured head, light lacing. The aroma is quite hoppy, lots of pine and orange with some light caramel malt undertones. The flavour is again quite hoppy, good amount of sweetness, the pine carries over and grapefruits are introduced, the caramel malt provides the balance. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, tingly carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy and dry. This completely blew me away. Totally unexpected, a brewery to watch in Ontario for sure.

Nice big creamy head and a clear amber body. Soft hops and malt aroma. Flavour is slight nuttiness, sweet malts, with a medium hoppy finish. This is a good one. Tranquillity (2563) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 24, 2016
Canned. Aroma of metal. Brown body, big beige head. Taste of roasted nuts, quite weak and boring. TheJester (2543) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 4, 2008
Growler. Amber-brown with a medium, sticky whitish head. Aroma is sweetish, with caramel, toast, and hops. The taste is quite hoppy, with just enough malt to back it up. Nicely bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Kinda like an English bitter made with Belgian yeast. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

50 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Dark golden, thick head. Brown sugar-resin aroma. Thick, strong nectarine flavour. Long sweet caramel finish balanced nicely with malt. Better than I thought. VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 18, 2015
500 ml bottle. Pours a clear weak amber-pale golden with a short lived white head. Aroma is caramel, lots of toast, grains and herbs. Flavor is caramel, lots of roast. Finish is roast, herbal, slightly earthy. Lingering malt, biscuit, slightly herbal. Medium body, average carbonation. Niall73 (2459) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 6, 2013
Bottle. Amber colour with off white head. Malty, sweet, caramel aroma. Nutty, sweet, toffee, smoky, a little bitter, though a touch thin. Nice though.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2011 1.9 l growler from the brewery. poured auburn with a huge frothy white head that leaves beautiful lacing all down the glass. very hoppy aromas. super alpha for sure. excellent bitterness but it is well rounded by the malts. roasty flavours near the finish that make you smile. an excellent brew//////////////////////////// fairly steep decline on this one through the years, still a servicible brew but not nearly as great as it was initially kevinsenn (2310) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - APR 10, 2011
A great amber ale. Starts off caramelly-sweet like a british ale, but ends off with a nice bitter hop finish. Will definitely get this again.
