500 ml bottle - thanks clint!! Clear amber with trace white head; caramel, dry malt and honey; dry with some sweet malt and fruit; slight twang from the fruit I guess; something a little off, but cant put my finger on it

500 ml bottle. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is very malty with caramel, roast and a hint of nuts & cereal but there is a bit of floral hops as well. On the palate it is medium bodied, fairly roasty bitter but smooth and a tad watery for me. Meh, wouldnt buy this one again.

Dark amber pour, large head. Hopping here more akin to english than american in both aroma and taste. Fruity, caramel malt, bitter, very quaffable. Lighter grapefruit and resin notes. Medium body.

Bottle bought at Champanes, this ale poured a red, orange, peach color into the glass and had a little haze, the pour gave a nice faint off-white cover that was lasting and left nice spots of lacing on the glass, the nose had toasted malt, faint fruit that was pear like, a little citrus hops, malt sweetness with a hint of caramel, the flavors were similar to the aroma, the finish had a light hop bitterness, the mouth feel was light and creamy with average carbonation, this beer had a nice flavor and nose of toasted malt, light hops and malt sweetness, a nice drink.

473ml can. Clear copper with a foamy off-white head. Flavors are toasted cereals, dirty malts, barley sugar, caramel, berries and earth with woodsy, spicy and metallic notes. Generous bitterness. Light to medium body, moderate to good carbonation, watery texture.

Ah yes the plowmans ale. This one was good. Smells of flowers, tastes plummier than your average amber ale. Nice and fresh, I hope to drink this again in the summer.

copper hue with beige head, the aroma is subdued hoppiness. it is medium bodied, the bitterness anchors the flavor quite well, nicely balanced.

Bottled sample at ribeye jacks. Pours amber with minimal head that dissipates quickly. Large caramel toffee and malt flavour. Nice and bubbly. Great aftertaste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not bad this is one of my favourites from the brewery. Clean brown with light head. Aroma has some sweet malts and a bit of breadiness to it. Flavour is a little buttery and like fresh white bread but it has a nice amout of bitter to it. Medium body.
