Bottle thanks to Matt7215. Pours a slight brownish amber with medium off-white head. Aroma of hops, caramel, malt, and slight chocolate. Flavor similar with the addition of wheat, spice, and a slight sweetness. Very dry on the palate. Good flavor, bad finish.

To Death, the jolly old bouncer, now
Our glasses let's be clinking;
If he hadn't put other out, I trow,
To-night we'd not be drinking.

Appearance: Big thick white head with tanned tinges. Body looks like burnished copper but when held to the light it’ very reddish in color.

Smell: Initial weird metallic aroma that gradually dissipates. Roasted smell and as it warms, i get a gentle hop presence.

Taste: A nice robust yet discreet taste. Some hops in the fore with a subdued dry bitter finish. There’s also some tea and a type of herbal presence lurking in there. I’m also getting some earthy notes, maybe barley?

Mouthfeel: Just a tad too carbonated at first but not uncomfortable by any means and definitely eases as it warms. Nice full body with a smooth flavorful feel.

Canned. Aroma of metal. Brown body, big beige head. Taste of roasted nuts, quite weak and boring.

Slightly hazy dark amber color with a thick cloud of activity. Creamy and frothy beige 2-3 finger island head, lasting around 15-20 minutes, creating a very good amount of lacing. Flavors of caramel and butterscotch, faint ester fruits, citrus, sweet buttery grains, faint floral and herbal spices, faint nutmeg and cinnamon. Highly sweet with the right amount of grassy hops and red ale spices. Creamy smooth medium to full body with carbonation. Medium strength finish with a nice lingering mouthfeel of cinnamon spices, caramel, and grassy noble spices. Overall pretty good craft with a delicious salivating prominent caramel flavor, lots of freshness and well intensified. A pleasure to drink!

OK some days you just need simple tasty beer. Uncomplicated, tasty beer. Kind of a home town brand for me but 1st try. Real beer plain and simple no hoppyness no saison. Just good old basic quality beer.

473ml can. Clear copper with a foamy off-white head. Flavors are toasted cereals, dirty malts, barley sugar, caramel, berries and earth with woodsy, spicy and metallic notes. Generous bitterness. Light to medium body, moderate to good carbonation, watery texture.

Appearance: clear medium amber with one finger of creamy ivory head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, patchy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: caramel/toffee malt, pine, toast, citrus zest, earth. (7/10) Taste: moderate-low sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate-soft carbonation, off-dry slightly sticky lingering bitter finish. (4/5)

Well, that’s a bit of a surprise: it looks like an amber, but the aromas include a decent hop character in addition to the malt. Moreover, although the taste has some malt elements, it’s not sweet at all, and the bitterness is quite pronounced. I find it hard to believe that it’s only 35 IBU, actually, and can definitely taste the super-alpha hops. The bitterness really sticks around in the slightly sticky finish, lingering and growing. An amber I actually like - who’d’a thunk it? (15/20)

500mL bottle Brewed Jul 6. Pours with zero head or lacing. Not impressive. Colour dark red and a bit orangish. Toasted aroma. Nice. Really nice on the palate. Balanced bitterness. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
