Six month bottle pours pale gold with effervescent carbonation. Smells of sweet malted wheat, a little grape and other fruitiness apparent. Taste is full on flavor with the carbonation making the sweet malt pop. There is a good fruit flavor that is not your standard banana and clove. Green grape is the most prominent and there is some clove and spice from the strong but good yeast, and a touch of hay like dryness from the hops. Being a fan of German wheat beers, this was a refreshing interpretation. theisti (4126) - Kansas, USA - NOV 17, 2011
12 oz bottle purchased as a single at MDL in Overland Park, Kansas. Bottled on 10/28/11 according to the label. Pour is slight haze golden yellow with a one inch white head that falls quick. Aroma is banana, bubblegum, wheat, and grassy earthiness. Taste is big on the bubble gum banana sweetness up front, turning towards clove, then finishing with the wheat and a nice mineral. Palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, lower carbonation, and the lingering yeast and mineral finish. Clean, fresh easy drinking beer. RobertDale (6477) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - NOV 6, 2011
12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy light gold with a nice white head. Aroma of grain, citrus and bananas. Taste is light wheat, lemon, malt and spices. Light and refreshing. thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
Poured into a glass. Aroma is generic of banana and clove. Flavour is also generic of a wheat beer. While its boring to be normal, its also great to be normal and nail it. Best beer I’ve had from grand teton. bnoel09 (587) - Elk Grove, California, USA - AUG 9, 2011
Poured into a weizen glass. Color is cloudy yellow/orange. Aroma is light banana and clove. Flavor is similar. Palate is light and crisp. Overall a very typical hefeweizen.

Tap: cloudy gold with a small white ring head. Aroma of rubber, spiced apples, blunt yeast. The flavor is yeasty, tangy banana with kind of a weird aftertaste. Not a fan. Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUN 12, 2011
Bottle: The aroma consists of banana, clove, bubblegum, and light citrus. It pours a hazy orangish-gold with a one finger white head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate banana, bubblegum, and a hint of lemon. The finish has very light wheaty tanginess and just a hint of clove. Light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel. Overall solid, but a tad on the sweet side and not enough citrus flavors. illidurit (2340) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 26, 2011
Pours hazy goldenrod. A pretty vigorous pour yields only a smallish fizzy white head which soon dissipates. Not very weissebier-esque. After a few minutes it appears completely still, with no ring of foam or lacing; pretty unattractive overall. Aroma is big on bananas, with lesser accents of vanilla and bread. Mostly one-dimensional though. Flavor is tasty if a little on the sweet side. Vanilla and banana up front with a crackery malt note and a touch of roast (?!) if I concentrate hard enough. Not really sure what’s going on here, it seems like maybe they used American ingredients with a German yeast strain or something. It’s a minor quibble but something doesn’t mesh quite right. The body is flabby and the carbonation is lacking, hurting the drinkability.
