Draft. Amber pour, off-white head. Citrus, orange, some herbal/vegetable thing going on, and caramel malt. It’s okay, but I was expecting more. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - JUN 10, 2010
Swing top bottle. Poured a clear dark orange color with a thick light orange-tinted head. Smelled of citrus liqueur, graham cracker, and toffee. Medium bodied and dry with mild bitterness. Nice citrus, pine, and toffee flavors. IrishBoy (4228) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUN 1, 2010
1L bottle dated Sept 17 2009 from Enniskillen and BevMo Salinas. Nose of toffee, floral hops, a little pine, and raisins. Very malty yet hoppy. Cloudy copper with a big, glass lacing beige head. Flavor is moderately bitter, fruity with caramel maltiness. Quite decent hoppy ale! badgerben (5288) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAY 28, 2010
Copper color with a medium head. Very light orange aroma. Some cooked vegetables in the flavor. Sickly sweet caramel. Not much bitterness at all. DuffMan (10612) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 25, 2010
Enormous bottle, shared with Parksy. Pours a hazy copper with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet, some peachy fruit, marmalade, and caramel. Something bordering on plastic as well (Parksy thought it was alcohol-- fusels maybe?). sweet sticky palate, with more fruity hops hinted at in the aroma. Disappointing bitterness. There is no way that I believe this is 100 IBUs. Anyway, this just didn’t come together in the end, especially for the price.

Aroma - very malt forward, tons of caramel with piney/citrusy hops floating around in the background.
mar (5437) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 1, 2010
Appearance - hazy copper body, off-white 1" cap, quick dissipation
Taste - seemes on the brewed tea side of things with some with some spicy/caramel malt combo being helped out by the obvious addition of piney hops.
Overall - reminded me of a really small barleywine in many ways. Not bad, but far, far overpriced for what is charged.
bottle thanks to bu11zeye. deep amber with a cream head. nose is heavy with piney hops, citrus notes, and caramel. nice on the palate, flavor is not as piney or as hoppy as i was hopping for but, the flavor is nice and refreshing. AmEricanbrew (6877) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - APR 30, 2010
Courtesy of bu11zeye. Clear amber color/ beige head. Big pine sap, grassy, tea leaf hoppy aromas with sharp caramel. Sharp caramel flavor with an over steeped tea leaf astringency. bu11zeye (13139) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 28, 2010
(1L swing-top bottle) Pours a lightly hazy amber body with a medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, grass, cherry, and herbs. Flavor of caramel, some roasted malt, earth, citrus, and grass. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - APR 26, 2010
on tap at papago 3/4/10.
dark hazy copper tinted reddish-brown with a lasting tan head and loads of drippy lacing.
nice aroma of mellow resinous pine, grapefruit/citrus candy, caramel, browned sugar and spicy earthy hops.
the flavor is dirty and full of dirty hoppy dryness... spiciness, citrus, caramel, grass, pine and a lightly bitter finish make up the rest. it is a touch too sweet for what i’d ideally like but, man are there a bunch of fresh delicious hops in here.
the creamy medium-full body is softly carbonated yet kept crisp. 7/4/7/3/16/3.7
