12 oz. bottle at Applewood BBQ on Kiawah. Poured hazy copper with huge fluffy white head. Grass and sweet malty flavor. Rather thin. Weak stuff.

Bottle. Pale copper appearance. Floaties are present, decent head, with very good lacing. Heavy malt and yeast aroma. Smooth with a late bitter finish. Bitter taste is long lasting.

Bottle. Nice pour with a good head. Cloudy copper color. Lots of sediment. Nice palate. Slight bitter after taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2014 Pours a slightly hazy copper with substantial frothy head. Flavor is bright with nice malt hops balance. Medium body. Very drinkable, yet with some complexity. 5/2/14 update - this just keeps getting better. Flavors of roasted spice, rye seeds, finishing with refreshing hops. Note, its unfiltered, so it can pour sediment and be cloudy.

From a bottle. Pours hazy copper with a bubbly off white head. Tastes sweet, hoppy, very malty, light orange citrus. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like citrus, pine, resin, and sweet caramel malt.

sonnycheeba (6694) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 8, 2014
Bottle from sampler pack. Pours mostly clear golden amber wit creamy off-white head. Aroma is toasted and cereal malts, light caramel, floral notes, oranges, and fresh yeast esters. Flavor is a good balance of cereal malts and floral hop bitterness, light grassy notes, and faint citrus esters; dry finish with a touch of bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

I'm shocked this is rated so low. Of all the pale ale styles I've tried this is one of the better ones. I like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Scipio (1305) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - MAR 4, 2014
Pours a hazy, darker golden with a medium white head. The aroma has grassy hops, orange, lemon, and caramel, with the grassiness being dominant. The is slightly sweet and quite fruity. I find grapefruit, orange, lemon, some pine, and complimented with caramel undertones. Short aftertaste is orange and grapefruit. Medium in body, slick in texture, with some softer, rather fizzy carbonation. I found this one very easy to drink. Its a solid beer.

Small sample bottled 10 months ago. Musty green aroma with citrus fruits, sweet malts and light skunk. Similar flavor, vegetal, sweet and mildly bitter. Light to medium body. Not as good as I remember, I’ll pick up a fresher bottle and rerate this.

cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - JAN 4, 2014
on tap, very nice golden yellow, nice head and lacing. Pleasant hoppy nose, pine, hop flowers, citrus. crisp mild hop attack. clean dry finish. good beer.
