4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
A finger and half of head on a hazy, dark straw colored body.
The aroma is grapefruit and lemon with a milk note; interesting but good.
The taste has a great balance of the malt sweet and hop bitterness. The bitterness comes through as lemon and pine.
The texture is smooth and soft with moderate carbonation. Incredible.
A great APA.
12 oz bottle bright gold pour with medium off-white head Aroma and taste is citrus grass and a mild hoppy bitterness cmacklin (1244) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 1, 2017
355ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of biscuit malt, caramel, orange, tangerine, grass and pine. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, biscuit, peach, orange peel, lemon grass and light pine with a dry, bitter hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Ok. tntracey (91) - Hood River, Oregon, USA - AUG 21, 2017
Wow! Buddy bought a 6-pack of this beer at Smiley Creek Store, near Stanley, ID. There to watch 100% solar eclipse. This ale is the real deal...! Docavey (88) - Lehigh Acres, Florida, USA - AUG 12, 2017
Had this from the bottle in Laramie WY. Our first night out on the 60th motorcycle trip with Marc Caron. Nice citrusy hops balanced with light malt and 6% alcohol. I really enjoyed this.

Pours orange. Head is white, creamy, and the brew retains a visible lacing. Aroma is a mix of caramel and blood orange. Tart, with a citric bitterness. Finishes the same. Body is medium, and the beer leaves a rich, smooth feel in the mouth. Good.

Bottled May 5th.
Clear orange until the bottom of the bottle where it gets a bit hazy. It’s bottle conditioned.
Smells of floral hops, cracker malt, kinda fruity.
Good balanced APA.
Floral hop smell translated to a mild slightly grassy bitterness. And that gets tempered by a firm malt presence of biscuit and cracker. The finish is the zenith of the bitter notes but again, it comes across as relatively mild because of that tasty balance.
This has been an old favourite of mine once the brewer rebranded this from IPA to APA. dnstone (3448) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JUN 16, 2017
Pours a clear golden with big lacing white head. Light earthy pine hop aroma and flavor.

Pours up a thick murky orange color with a beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel and toasted malts, with light citrus notes. Flavor is sweet, almost burnt caramel, some orange rind. There is no sharp bite and a decent juicy body. Easy drinker. freekyp (2363) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - APR 1, 2017
A solid APA with toasty malt backbone bolstering a fruity hop kick. Doughy aroma. Some citrus flavors. Clean finish with a long orangy fade. Pretty clear copper with a wispy slight head. Little lace. rosenbergh (11680) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 22, 2016
12 oz bottle. Bottled on 09/15/16. (MDL Wine & Spirits) Overland Park, KS.
Slightly cloudy golden color with a tiny white head.
Grainy and cookie malt... not much more... maybe some mild sweet hops... in the aroma.
The flavor is dry grainy malt, cookies, sweetish fruity hops and mild bitterness.
