1" foamy white head dies back pretty quickly leaving decent but pretty sparse lacing.... the brew is a hazed golden...
Mildly spicy with hints of clove and quite possibly coriander... subtle citrus notes.... smells bready and still somehow pretty dry.
Flavor is more peppery than clove-centric, but the clove phenols are still there for sure.. American bitterness up front mixes fast with the phenols and a pleasant yet lesser apricot ester quality... grassy hops and mild floral notes.... finish is long and lingering and leans toward the phenols.
Body is lite medium with a great smooth effervescent carbonation. SSSteve (4006) - - NOV 24, 2014

Bottle just over a year old. Saisons are not my style, but this was tasty and refreshing. Touch of lemon and the farmhouse spices were not overbearing. barncatmatt (2287) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2013

750 mL bottle from The Greenville Beer Exchange, Greenville, SC (bottled May 16, 2011). First off, I am a bit confused. While the label clearly states "Cellar Reserve" the brewer goes to great lengths to explain that this is a beer to be enjoyed fresh (it says it on the tag, I read it) and I bought this beer from a store when it was already 2 years old. With that introduction, this is my review. Pours dark orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of mango and pineapple take over and mask anything else. The taste is less fruity with that slight bitterness, barnyard, and leather that I associate with saisons. The finish is light citrus and just a bit peppery. I am not sure what this tasted like fresh or if the brewer intended for it to be served after 2 years of cellaring, but it has held up quite while and is well suited for the summer months as it was intended. Well done. jtclockwork (16857) - , New Jersey, USA - JUN 29, 2013
Bottle with Yanick. Pours cloudy apricot gold with white head. Nose and taste of peach bread, creamed lemons, lemongrass, banana, orange peel and light herbal notes. Medium body. Finishes with a touch of alcohol soaked orange peels. cubs (10677) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAY 21, 2013
Bottle @ Ben and Greg’s apartment. 2011 vintage. Pours a somewhat hazy dark golden appearance with an off white head. Banana, apple, somewhat spicy, grassy aroma. Spritzy, somewhat bready, a bit oxidized, apple, lemon citrusy flavor. Probably should have drink a bit more fresh but not bad. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - APR 9, 2013
Pours a rich copper orange color with a finger of sticky foam. Aromas are sweet apple, straw, earthy yeast and a touch of pepper. The palate is a bit round and under carbonated but the flavor is interesting. Ripe apple dominates with a background sweetness that helos carry the rustic yeasty profile in a more subtle way. Long honeyed finish, nice beer just not your traditional saison characteristics.
