Short lasting head and minimal lacing atop a hazy golden brew.
Aroma is of course wheat and pale malts.. slight spicy hoppiness.
Good body for the style and sorta creamy carbonation. Wheat and husky pale malts with only a touch of spicy hop flavor.. the brew leans towards the malts.
I don’t know what else to say; I don’t even try to pretend to enjoy American wheats... just not my thing. It is good for its style and I like Workhorse more than Widmer Hefe, but that’s not saying much. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - MAR 26, 2010
gold pour with a thin white head.
aroma is wheat malt, light banana and malt. hint of clove spice. very light though.
flavour is light citrusy lemon and light banana, cardboard-ish wheat malt body.
pretty drinkable. scooterbub (1067) - Lander, Wyoming, USA - DEC 1, 2009
Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a decent white head that fades fast. Taste is of wheat, caramel and some malt. Is a little bitter, somewhat sweet and somewhat thin. A little on the watery side. Similar aroma. Not bad, but not the best wheat for the price. BVery (10609) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 29, 2009
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 TAP: hazy yellow pour, a pale wheat in every sense. Not much aroma, flat taste - nothing offesive, but nothing good either. puzzl (3258) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 2, 2009
Tap at Colter Bay Village Ranchhouse. Took a lot of work to figure out what this even was. Pours a mostly filtered yellow with a small head. Grainy, damp, mild wheaty aroma. Spritzy, milky, light flavor, uncomplex but not especially bad. A very typical (and dull) American Wheat.

Bottle from BevMo. Slightly hazy gold color with an ok white head. Aromas of lemon peel and wheat. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is lemon peel and wheat. Finish is citrus oil bitter and wheat. And wheat. An ok drink, preferably for a hot summer day. douglas88 (9420) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 20, 2008
Bottle picked up in Jackson, Wyoming. Pours a clear orange with a small white head. The aroma is full of wheat and lemons. The taste is pretty simple; a nice strong grain and wheat aspect with some citrus zest. Smooth and easygoing. Not bad. zathrus13 (1776) - Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA - JUN 17, 2008
Pours gold, with a white head. Aroma is wheat, grass, and hops. Flavor is wheat, hops, grass, and fruit. A decent wheat beer. Thanks for this bottle, Eric.
