Pour out of 750 mL bottle, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, biscuit, bread, hints of orange peel, touch of earth, hints of white fruits in there as well with a touch of spice. Taste is a mix of white fruit, slight spice, earth, nice caramel, biscuit, and toasted malts, hints of grain, finishing spicy, bitter. CanIHave4Beers (4207) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - NOV 12, 2013
Pours a deep reddish brown with a small head and nice lacing on the glass.freeofthoughts (688) - Raytown, Missouri, USA - NOV 3, 2013
The aroma is apple, toffee, & plenty of Cavendish tobacco. Very rich and pungent, nicely sweet smelling.
Flavor is nicely sweet, it’s got some cigar wrapper, raisin, & toffee. The bitterness level is nice enough... It’s a big rich weird beer, and I really enjoyed it.
I genuinely did not expect to like this as much as I did. Chill beer, nice surprise, not really a shelf beer anymore I don’t suppose.
September 10, 2012 bottle 13 months. Pours dark red brown with minimal fizz. Nice roasted flavor without being too deep, rich full brown ale. The hops are secondary to the complex malt build but add a lot. The carbonation leaves a lot of room and the brew delivers. The finish is dry and earthy grainy with a light herbal, touch of coffee and toasted bread. Very good. Niko100 (2982) - Chicago, New York, USA - OCT 12, 2013
Nice brown/cider color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of toasted sweet malt, toffee, & hops; Flavor of slight roasted sweet malt, caramel/toffee, hops, and some dark fruit; Finish is somewhat boozy; Decent. Phatdog1 (179) - Brentwood, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 7, 2013

Bomber, bottled sept. 2012. Malty aroma with hints of wood, caramel and hops. Pours dark copper colored with a tan head and moderate lacing. Sweet maltiness to start with caramel and woodsy notes and a good mouthfeel. Finishes smooth and dry with a bit of a hoppy bite at the very end.

Oh man this is good! Big and rich. Super malty. Coffee and hops. Very Irish. Tasty, tasty, tasty! JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 12, 2013
2 finger head is impressive... sorta a yellowy lite tan.... descent amount of lace... the brew is very brown.
Nose is big and hoppy and still very malty... caramel and toffee with citric and piney hops... yeasty fruity esters too... smell is very complex.
big bitterness out of the gate.. melts into caramel with sorta a cigar flavor... not the smoke.. but rough tobacco... piney hops with a blast of fruitiness... some cocoa throughout... but it tends to be drowned out by the massive flavor of this brew. Body is fairly thick and the lite carbonation accentuates that you are drinking a huge brew.
I like this... I am trying to think of something over the years that sorta comes close to describing it... it actually sorta reminds me of a fruity English BW... BuckeyeBoy (8281) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 12, 2013

Pours reddish-brown with a thin whitish head. Nutty malt aroma with earthy hops. This is one of the best brown ales I've had. Nutty and toasted malt flavor meets a crisp hoppiness. Medium bodied and a pleasant fizziness. Very good.
