Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - NOV 13, 2015
On tap:The aroma consists of mild cocoa, roast, coffee, and a hint of burnt notes. It’s a dark brown with no transparency and two finger khaki head that has great retention before eventually fading to a thick film. There is some spotty webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of cocoa/chocolate. There’s some light roasted malt in the middle. The finish has some light burnt coffee. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat creamy mouthfeel. kathouse (1930) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - NOV 9, 2015
Chocolate and coffee aromas. Listed as an Oatmeal Stout on the menu. Light/medium body, thin but enjoyable finish. I liked this beer. deyholla (12021) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 6, 2015
Sampled from the tap at the St. Cloud location. Pours black with a brown head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has dark grains and roasted malts with a musty dryness. Flavor has dry dark grains and some musty roasted malts. Bif (2307) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - OCT 27, 2015
On tap. Served a blackish color with a nice tan head that lasted with ample lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Taste is same as aroma. Decent bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Moderate body, a bit of a gritty feel and not very robust. undsioux7 (876) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Pours deep brown with a dark tan head. Light coffee and roast in the aroma. Same in taste. Light bodied and a touch weak but not offensive

Ehh, mediocre stout at best! Beautiful dark pour w/ a retaining mocha head that leaves little lacing. The aroma is quite light & only slightly roasty. The taste is watery, slight roast, & just too thin! Come on man! blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 24, 2015
Draft. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Mild roasted malts, some generic malty sweetness, faint coffee, and a muted and mild roasted malty finish. Pretty bland throughout, but no real off flavors. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 30, 2015
Pour on tap at the brewpub in Eagan, MN, dark brownish black pour, nitro pour with tan head, aroma brought water, grain, biscuit, some toast, touch of slight caramel. Taste was a mix of caramel, grain, toffee into a bit of cocoa, watery bready notes, finishing dry. Brigadier (3725) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - FEB 16, 2015
On tap in Cleveland (OH)
Another so-so impersonation of a stout mirrors the Mom’s Cookies. Any highlights are drowned in a sea of watery blandness. Save your time and money unless you want a cheap tick.
Aroma / Appearance - A black fluid base swirls limply around the glass. Thin bodied and watery the view alone inspires little confidence of a great memorable experience. Coffee and undercooked oatmeal have cheap smoky undertones like a smoking patio rinsed clean by a rain shower.
Flavor / Palate - Watery smoke and cheap coffee tease the palate with a promise of something better. If you took the bottom of the pot and added enough water to unstick it you’d have a good equivalent of this flavor profile. A half hearted release falls just short of average and isn’t worth more than two ounces at best.
