Tap @ Kansas City location: Jet black with a loooooong lasting tan head. Choco-yeasty aroma and the feel is slick like an oatmeal stout. The flavor is like non-sweet chocolate malt balls. the feel is thin. kathouse (1893) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - NOV 9, 2015
Chocolate and coffee aromas. Listed as an Oatmeal Stout on the menu. Light/medium body, thin but enjoyable finish. I liked this beer. gopherfan99 (1828) - Minnesota, USA - APR 13, 2014
Tap, black with a tan head, tasted slightly sweet of chocolate, roast malt, and coffee, light dry finish, average stout chucklemation (1683) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - JUL 11, 2014
Pours a dark black with a tan foam head. Has a roasty and chocolate aroma. Flavor is sweet chocolate, roasted malts, and even a little nutty taste. Towards the bottom of the pint glass there was a dirt/grass flavor that was unfortunate. Has a watery body feel. Otherwise not too bad. User29624 (1683) - - AUG 9, 2009
Out of the sampler I had, this was one of the better beers. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate. Flavor is the same with a little bit of a nutty flavor as well. Not bad, but nothing amazing.

Ehh, mediocre stout at best! Beautiful dark pour w/ a retaining mocha head that leaves little lacing. The aroma is quite light & only slightly roasty. The taste is watery, slight roast, & just too thin! Come on man! MeadMe (1661) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - JUL 13, 2010
HonusWagner was kind enough to think of me on his travels across the county. Picked up from the brewpub in Fargo.
A: Pours a nice rich black hue. Very tall tan head that exhibied no real retention or lace.
S: Very mild aromas. Hints of toasted malt and coffee.
T: Roasted malty goodness. Nice coffee with very mild chocolate. A touch of sweet caramel to go along with a bit of lactic like sweetness.
M: Medium in body, ample carbonation, a bit of dryness in the finish.
D: Good, nice mild little stout. Michael can’t thank you enough for thinking of me during your travels. ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - AUG 19, 2010
Nitro pour at the brewpub in Fargo. Black pour with a thick tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, a bit of chocolate. Flavor is toasty and smooth but mouthfeel is dissapointingly thin and watery. Fairly mediocre stout. Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - JUL 20, 2008
Grabbed a growler from Granite City in Rockford, IL(very expensive $15 plus $8 to fill) and would not recommend their growlers since they seem to lack the ability to keep the beer carbonated well. Poured from the growler black. Aroma is toasted malts and strong of coffee. Flavor is a good bitterness with great coffee flavor and has a faint caramel end note. Palate is a bit weak and lacks any depth in density of the brew. GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - OCT 25, 2008
On tap in cedar rapids. Pours a thick black, white head. Light aroma for a stout. A lot of roastiness in the flavor, but it’s pretty thin for a stout--almost watery. Dry finish. Meh...
