Mild roast aroma (served too cold). Black with sticky brown head. Bitter roast with mild coffee malts. Unbalanced.

On tap in Sioux Falls, SD actually. Respectable stout here that is cheaper due to me using the Granite City Mug Club.

Watery. Flavorless. Bland. How sad. I love a good stout and this is far from one.

Black with a tan head and a ruby glow when held up to the light. Has a weak coffee aroma with a slight hint of chocolate. Smells very similar to Guinness. It starts off with a malty taste then moves to a watery taste and finishes with coffee, again very similar to Guinness. This beer had good lacing and head retention. Basically a Guinnes knock off.

Dark red brown color with a thick off white head. There is a light nose displaying hints of coffee and oats. The palate comes across as slightly creamy with notes of milk chocolate and coffee. An OK stout.

Light, somewhat dry, but mostly papery and flavorless. Very slight roast flavor but no discernible chocolate. Bland. On nitro.

Tried at Granite City Brewery in Kansas City. Part of a flight. Found all of the beers to be watered down and mediocre at best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had on tap in Madison, WI in March 2013. This pours a dark brown color with a creamy light brown head. There is a sweet malt scent. The texture is pretty thin and light that is sweet, creamy with hints of cocoa. Its fairly decent given the company as it compares pretty similar to Guinness. Tried it once, but probably not going to try again.

Looks good in the glass - deep brown or black with a finely foamy head that coats the glass. A lot of roasted coffee in the aroma and the taste. Pretty thin and average stout.

Pours a beautiful deep black with a good two inches of thick tan head. Excellent count-the-number-of-sips lacing. Sadly, Ive now come to the point where I stop being impressed. Very mild roasted grain in the aroma. A little bit of coffee in the flavor, but not much. Exceptionally mild taste, it isnt even going to frighten away the beer novice. Thin body, not much character. This one proves that dark beers arent always bold, potent, or bitter.
