Draft at source. Strong floral and herbal hop aroma. Hazy orange with white head that laces well. Taste is initially very bread crust with moderate bitterness. Followed by more bread crust malt flavors. Finished dry, moderate carbonation. Not a fan of the hops or the overly crusty malt flavors. dlovell2 (2378) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUN 17, 2016

My favorite beer from Granite City. Solid all around pale ale that goes well with food. ajnepple (7337) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - DEC 13, 2015
On tap at the Schaumburg location. Clear amber appearance with a lacy off-white head. Piney spruce, light hop resin, grass, husky grains, floral notes and herbal hops in the aroma. Medium hop bitterness, a little harsh, with a hint of malt sweetness. Meh. freekyp (2466) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 13, 2015
A well balanced pale, The Duke starts with a citrus hoppy nose with light caramel malt tones. Not a lot of bitterness, but a lot of fruity hop character with a lasting finish. Pours light copper with a wispy off-white head. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - NOV 13, 2015
On tap: The aroma consists of light-moderate caramel, fruit, faint citrus, and florals. It’s a hazy amber with a small off-white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thick ring. There is a thick sheet of lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick moderate and a touch of fruit. The finish has light-moderate florals and light pine. It’s medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall, it’s solid, but English IPAs aren’t my favorite. kathouse (1942) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - NOV 9, 2015
Listed here as a pale ale, but actually an English IPA. Citrus and grassy hop aromas. Tasty body with a bready malt and heavy hop flavors of citrus, pine, and hay.
