CloakedDagger (3008) - - AUG 19, 2015
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, reddish amber with a dense and lacing beige head. Odd spicy aroma. Rich, malty body, spicy, cough syrup, some caramel malts, a slight tartness. The medicinal notes are a little odd, but it doesn’t spoil the fun as such. 190815 Panzerfaust (877) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - JUL 21, 2015
330 ml bottle from Club de Cervezas, Chile. Pours a deep dark copper color with a large off-white pillowy head. Head stays even after I finish my glass and I always take my time with a new one. Nice and deep hoppy aroma with clear notes of pine and rosemary as the label says. Hints of resin, tangerines and orange peel too. Well done and smooth, not harsh as some other Chilean IPA’s. In the mouth it’s bitter, elegantly so, astringent on the sides of the mouth with citrusy notes, but with a nuance of orangey sweetness and trace of caramel. The bitterness stays after swallowing for a considerable long time as well as in the aftertaste. Amazingly easy to drink, the 7% ABV are not felt in the mouth (but they are in your head). Medium carbonation and body. It’s a fine, punchy and full-flavored beauty of high refinement. This could be my Summer session beer had it slightly less alcohol. Kudos to the Granizo people. beervator (16) - CHILE - JUL 1, 2015
As I said before, Granizo is one of the best Chilean Breweries! This IRA its superb! Very exotic hoppy smell, think it has "romero", confirmed, it has. Looks sexy, well carboantated, nice foam, not perfect but nice. Complete body, not exagerated. A well performed India Red Ale Style, try Granizo. Its interesting that they called this variety "IRA!" which stand for Anger. Its a nice bold attitude within this beer. Thumbs up!

Subdued nose, slight citrus notes. Copper to amber appearance with slight haze. Foam persists for several minutes. Clean crisp, off flavors. Slight tannin bite complements hop bitterness. Refreshing finish. thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 26, 2013
Bottle at El Irlandes, Valparaiso. Clear deep amber with a solid head. Good spicy and perfumey hop nose. Caramel, fruit, well-balanced. Good. Cristinada (11) - CHILE - SEP 22, 2013
A deep copper red in my pint, with a big y creamy head with a medium-high carbonation, in the nose you can feel some spicy notes like pine, rosemary and cedrón with a little profile of caramel in the end. In palate it is smooth with the spicy profile (pine and rosemary) that is mixed with a pronounced bitterness and a subtle finish of caramel (malts). Has a great aftertaste and a great combo of spicy and hoppy notes.
