UPDATED: OCT 3, 2017 Gulbrun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter karamell og korn. Lett. Søtlig, karamell, noe metallisk bitterhet i avslutningen. Kort.

Boks 500ml fra Rema-1000 butikk. Drukket på Bergstua 15 Sep 17. Gyldengul. Høyt kremaktig skum som daler sakte. Lite aroma. Smaken smørmalt.

Aroma; fruit, berries, apple, malt, caramel, sweet hops. Look; off white head, deep golden clear body. Taste; caramel malts, toffee, sweet bread, soft hops, apple, pear, mild pomerance - juicy tail. Feel; good. Overall; dangerously easy to drink. [50cl velvet blue can from Rema1000. Grans in Sandefjord produces this now (not DK), a comeback 2017]

On can from Rema Løren. Golden color, ok foam. Low aroma intensity; cardboard, malt, some very light (German) hop note. Light body & complexity. Ok bitterness & balance. Pretty low end stuff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Straw/yellow color. Nice white head, but it disappears after a few seconds. Awkward sweet grain/bread aroma. Taste is much the same, without the necessary hops to balance the sweetness. Some bitterness in the finish, but that does not make it. Not bad, only a very forgettable brew.

Bottled. Pale golden, average head. Sweet and papery, rounded mouthfeel. Salty finish. Drinkable but utterly dull.

(500 ml can). Brewed "under licence" (my ass!) in Denmark, no doubt by Gran's Danish partner brewery Harboe. Very pale golden brew, decent head. Quite strong fruity sweet aroma, not really good but not offensive either. Flavour is typical Harboe = completely uninteresting, a bit on the sweet side, low bitterness. Little aftertaste - at least you don't get the normal Grans metallicness.
