Pours a fizzy pale golden body with a little white head.
Aroma of malt, corn and slightly hay.
Taste is crisp with moderate sweetness and cardboard.
Watery mouthfeel, fizzy carbonation, light to medium body. TorbenJensen (1590) - Valby, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2015
Beautiful foamy lager from Grans Brewery in Norway. It is by no means overwhelming, but not as distasteful as I had feared.
This lager has a fine malty taste with slightly hoppy bitterness. It is perhaps a little sweeter in its expression than usual Danish lagers, and so lacks a distinctive hop that could make it more rich and tasty. It is easy to drink and thirst quenching. Can, 4.6%. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. Grain and butter aroma, the grain not as unpleasant as the butter. The flavour has a little butter to begin with and is also strangely acidic. Not quite inoffensive. Bamsen78 (5617) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 16, 2013
