Fantastic aroma with chocolate and carob. Pours dark and good colour of head. Tastes of chocolate and alcohol.

650ml bottle pours almost black in color with a 2 finger light beige head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is dominated by chocolate with a light roasted grain also coming through. Taste is sweet chocolate with some light roasted bitterness. Alcohol is well hidden. Overall, a little too much chocolate and not enough roasted bitterness for my liking.

Surprisngly good sweet and chocolately brew. The booze is well covered and a beautiful mildly bitter roasted malt and light milky choclate aroma notes. Nothing too excititing flavor wise, but a solid roast and moderately heavy feel. Just lacks the robust oomph i love in Imperial Stouts

This was the least sophisticated imperial stout I’ve ever had, it was just a liquid Fudgsicle. That’s it. How am I supposed to raise my pinky, tip my feathered fedora, and tut tut the Molson drinkers with one of these in my hand? As a liquid Fudgsicle it was quite good though.

Very nice chocolate stout. Smooth and (too) easy to drink. Small foamy head upon pour. Notes of chocolate on nose and palate. Simple but delicious.

Black. Chocolate notes as expected. Tiny head disappears fast. Flavors of sweet chocolate. Hints of coffee. A full bodied beer that is almost too sweet for me.

Bottle, courtesy of toffsbury. Pours opaque black, with a thin tan head. Milk chocolate aroma. Taste is silky smooth chocolate, no bitterness. After a while starts to taste a little watery. Smooth moutfheel, but a thin body. Nice.

Aroma is chocolatey and delicious, but mild. Milk chocolate rather than dark chocolate. Pours nearly opaque with a brown edge, and a very thin head, oily on top. Taste is nice, pretty chocolatey but not overwhelmingly so, with some roasted malt and a hint of booze. Aftertaste is milky sweet and lingers on the tongue. Body is surprisingly thin for what it is, but smooth. Some tartness sneaking in there. Overall quite nice.

650 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with large head of big bubbles. Strong aroma of dark cocoa powder and a little vanilla extract. Flavor of dark chocolate and heavily roasted malt with notes of black coffee and vanilla. Light and a bit watery for a stout.
