Bottled sample. Orange in colour with moderate (and soft) carbonation. Aromas are of muted sweet orange and a hint or caramelized pear. Flavours are of chewy (but not overly sweet) pale malt, grassy and citrusy hops, a bit of booze and mint. Medium to heavy bodied with chunky bitterness. Has a certain British-ness to it inspire of the old school citrusy American hops. Ok overall.
Hazy orange pour with big chunks of sediment. Had to give it a once over with the yeast strainer to prevent myself from chewing on it. Nice aroma of floral and citrus hops. Has a nice crisp hoppy bitterness with a strong earthy and malty undertone. Blairgus (4536) - California, USA - AUG 1, 2013
1 aug 2013, bottle. Light orange, clear, some bubbles. Nose is sweet cereal malt and grassy hops. Med/thin body and mildly fizzy. Sugary, red apples, mild alcohol. Decent.

Bottle shared with Parksy-- FINALLY! Fuck are we overdue for a session or what? Very hazy orange-tinted gold with a thick gold-tinted head that never quits. Aroma is sweet with pungent hops, earthy and herbal with citrus notes. Nicely malty palate, a little chewy in a pleasant way, with that pungent hop character sweeping in and taking over. Finish is long and very bitter. Solid IIPA, maybe not too bright in the hop department, but there is enough here to make me happy. TheRatKing (122) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 16, 2013
Big’ol bottle into a Stella glass. Don’t look at me that way I don’t drink Stella, I just got the glass from my brother. Anyways. Pours a hazy amber with a thin head that dissipated fairly quickly. Nose is subdued, hints of orange peel and grapefruit is about all I get. Flavour is very pleasant; ruby grapefruit and mandarin orange, good bitterness backed up with a solid sweetness that provides a very good balance. Orange rind settles on the back of the tongue as a nice reminder. A rather good offering. Could never tell it weighed in at 8.6% vadie (1256) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 9, 2013
Ambrée/jaune avec une mousse moyenne blanche. L’arôme d’houblon et d’agrumes. Le goût est d’abord un peu amer avec des agrumes et devienne plus amer vers la finale.

On tap at the Granville Island taproom on Graville Island (fancy that). Has a nice gold body with modest head, strong hoppy aroma. Flavour is good strong hops; it’s kind of standard fare for the style, well balanced, but firmly in the middle of the pack. gramity (1638) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 29, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy amber brown with a big frothy white head. Aroma is slight caramel malts and earthy hops. Taste is a great balance of earthy hops, caramel malt and a smooth bitterness. pintbypint (3584) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 12, 2013
650ml brown bottle. 2013 Limited Release. Orangey golden in colour, slightly unclear. Small white head with creamy edges. Light lacing. Nose has zesty orange and grapefruit. Taste has grapefruit up front, notes of orange peel and grapefruit in the finish, malts are very clean. Medium bitterness, not very aggressive. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Decent effort here, certainly in Double IPA territory, but a bit mild. Ok price point. stantheman (1036) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 30, 2013
Large bottle from Boundary Crossing Liquor Store in East Vancouver. A medium amber with generous beige head. Wow! A generous load of hops here, with just the faintest malt detected in the background. Very citrus bitter finish.

Looks like the corporate macro giants are starting to get the message. Probably the best the best I’ve tried from GIB to date.
Amber colour with foamy white head, nice lacing. Aroma of pine and fruit. Taste is semi-bitter, hoppy, but with a definite sweet fruity element as well. Quite nice.
