Bottled sample. Copper in colour with moderate yet spritzy carbonation. Aromas are of mellow grapefruit, toasted malt, and a bit of caramel. Flavours are a blend of pale, toasted and caramel malts, backed by some orchard fruit and mild citrus. Light bodied with a bright mineral-like finish. Easy drinking and clean with more complexity than one would expect. Solid overall. Crit (4049) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 26, 2013

Copper orange pour, off-white head. Caramel, toast, spiciness and floral character on the aroma. Flavor is along the same lines with faintly resinous bitterness on the finish. A surprisingly clean and balanced mellow beer. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 29, 2011

Dark amber color; creamy head. Light caramel aroma. Quite good caramel and roasted malt flavor, dry mouthfeel. Strong bitterness. Pleasant beer, although not complex.
Pleasantly balanced aroma of caramel malt and floral hops. Clear amber body is topped by a low white head that recedes to a thin partial cover with some lacing. Flavour is as aroma suggests with pleasant bitterness offsetting the caramel malt. Medium light body with moderate, lightly prickly carbonation. A very drinkable beer! Sampled on tap on St. Patrick’s day at Sunset Grill.
