355 ml bottle poured at home. Pours a brownish red with a creamy beige head. Overwhelming chocolate smell. Taste is the same: chocolate with a bit of vanilla. Sweet with a slightly bitter ending. Drinkable.

Bottle - 341ml. Pours a dark brown body with a thick, fading, beige foamy head. Its malty aroma carries strong chocolate hints. Wood and coffee are also noticeable. Its well balanced malty/hoppy taste carries roasty, brown sugar, and chocolate notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Not bad, but could be much stronger.

Looks and pours nice. Low on carbonation, not a big issue. First taste - sweet. Overwhelming chocolate. Was hoping for something more complex, but its just chocolate. Better options out there

Pours clear deep amber with one finger of tight light tan head, great retention, excellent lacing. (4/5) Nose is chocolate, caramel malt, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg. (6/10) Taste is moderate to strong sweet, mild bitter, mild spice. (6/10) Medium body, somewhat cloying, moderate carbonation, mildly bitter and moderately spicy finish. (3/5) Not bad, but a little on the cloying side. I think its the chocolate in combination with the fairly high sweetness - neither the carbonation nor the spiciness lifts it enough to avoid the cloying description. The spice helps with the winter warmer character, but a little higher ABV might help it more. Pretty, sure, but ultimately a little disappointing. (12/20)

On tap. Clear dark amber pour with small off white head. Aroma is a huge blast of chocolate, faint malts, caramel, spices and dough. Taste of chocolate, caramel, slight toffee, faint spice and bread dough. Medium bodied, lower carbonation, slightly cloying.

Jaime loriginalit. Cheers!

From a bottle to a pint glass. Wow, I could smell the chocolate from the second I started to pour this. I really wasnt expecting that (even though it says "chocolate aroma" on the box... Yeah...). Chocolate then leads the way to toffee, then to some vanilla. Basically, it smells sweet. The color is beautiful, being a nice dark ruby. The first taste is, not surprisingly, chocolate. It then gets bitter, you get a bit of vanilla, then tastes like chocolate again. The finish isnt really long. Personally, I find it way too sweet. Its not a bad beer, just not one Id go directly to.
