Aroma is hard to put your finger on. Hints of vanilla and coffee. Taste like a vanilla coke almost. It’s a decent winter ale. Definatly unique. janetDhartt (2) - - MAR 3, 2014 does not count
Quite a distinctive vanilla flavor. I probably wouldn't have bought it but where I live there is little to no interesting beers. Glad I tried it. I will buy it again. MunBro (942) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 3, 2014
Aroma of stale chocolate, funk, caramel, and malts. Dark clear amber pour. Taste is heavily of vanilla with some stale chocolate, spices, with a watery malt aftertaste. I have no real complaints about this one other than it having a very odd palate and being a bit watery. mmacleod75 (112) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 1, 2014
Poured dark copper brown with medium frothy head. Heavy chocolate aroma. Same chocolate flavour with some vanilla, and a bit of coffee. I found the chocolate too overpowering to be enjoyable. culchiem (3925) - Berlin, GERMANY - FEB 27, 2014
Draught. Clear dark caramel with a minimal head. Big chocolate vanilla nose. Flavor is powdered chocolate, vanilla, a little spice. Not bad

Bottle. Pours a copper red. Nose has some nutmeg, chocolate and mild toast malts. Taste is very thin. Needs more booze in it 5.5 ain’t enough. Watery finish. Ok but has potential to be a good beer. dfearnley (2069) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 27, 2013

Aroma malty, with plenty of caramel, hinted with sweet vanilla and toffee.
Top: medium lighter, bright white fine beading, rings on glass.

Other notes named as winter ale, fairly fitting.
