Can, LCBO. Sweet vanilla aroma. Dark amber pour, foamy tan head. Taste - not bad. Lots of vanilla - a bit too much - but it goes well enough with the sweet caramel tasting base. Light bodied and well carbonated. A bit watery. Not bad, but too much vanilla to get much else. Lots of flavour though.

It's a great cold winter evening sipping beer. Malty, dark amber-copper with an off-white head. Coco + flowery hops aroma; sweetvmalt caramel toffee/fudge taste with early notes of vanilla. Smooth, creamy and easy to drink while the snow is coming down. Great on-mountain snowboarding brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear, light cola with a medium sized foamy burned butter head. Big nose of chocolate, with notes of mild leafy hop. Flavour is extremely sweet. Lots of chocolate cookie dough, and vanilla. Traces of wood and earth. Herbal hops. Touches of berry tart. The description is weirdly non descript. "Special" this, and "Premium" that. Not 100% sure this is always consistent. It's definitely tasty for a winter sipper. Don't think I'd want to have more than two in a row. If it weren't for some bitterness, this would be quite cloying. Body is deceptively medium/thin. It actually has the same or more chocolate in there than Rogue's or Young's Chocolate Stout. Caramel/Molasses. Definitely has the Tootsie-Roll flavour many other raters describe. Is that a good thing? Maybe. It would be a good introductory beer in a flavour profile. More of a chocolate porter than an ESA. Chocolate and Crystal malts. Not sure if there is oatmeal in with the malts or not, but more would make it luscious. Finish is quite sticky. Enjoyable.

Can. Tootsie roll aroma. Sort of messy Tootsie roll aroma with fruit... Like a Tootsie Pop I guess. It's drinkable but not my first choice in winter ales.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2017 Best on tap (draught.) If in bottle or can then pour into separate glass. Requires less agitation than a lager of course. Vanilla w caramel. Great beer on a cold day. Garbage beer on a hot day.

Tastes of dark chocolate and mint. In fact those two flavors are overpowering for me. It's a pretty punchy tasting beer too, very loud. Seems like they just dumped a bunch of cocoa powder into a low-quality beer and ruined it even more. I tried to drink it but couldn't even get halfway through the can.

Very impressed by this one. Got it from the LCBO special winter pack. Always a nice surprise from a beer in can. A strong cocoa aroma and caramel taste.

Malty ale that lingers on the mouth. Dark brown with light carbonation. Standard stout flavour

I loved this shit when I was 19. Deep amber. Aroma is caramel and malt. Taste is quite sweet, with a lot of vanilla extract.

473 ml can. Clear dark amber colour, thin off-white head. Sweetish malty aroma with caramel, chocolate and vanilla. The flavour is malty, a little toasted, with cocoa, caramel and vanilla, and a moderately hoppy finish. OK.

Une bière cuivrée et foncée et limpide. La mousse...ah?! Disparue. Merci Mark. (2107-210217)
