Appearance: hazy pale straw, two fingers of rocky white head, excellent retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: apples, lemon, pale malt, light barnyard funk. (6/10) Taste: moderate-high sweet, mild bitter, mild tart. (7/10) Medium-light body, moderate carbonation, off-dry lightly funky finish. (3/5)
A middle-of-the-road saison. A bit too sweet and a bit too brown apple-y for my preferences. Could stand to be a fair bit dryer, crisper, and cleaner. (13/20) Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 4, 2016
The abv went from 6.5 to 6.3, but the IBUs stayed the same. But the brewer is different so how similar this is to the 2014 version I don’t know. Hazy light amber. Thin head. Spicy, light biscuity malts, dryish, light phenols, moderate bitterness. Not somethings I’d buy ahead of Dupont but good. RhetoricalAns (973) - Red Deer, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 14, 2014

Bottle. HAzy deep golden yellow with a very thick and retentive white head. Aroma is heavy estery yeast with soft bready malts. Soft body of sweet pale malts and spicy estery yeast. This wasn’t bad, but lacked subtle character. Kind of like a paint-by-numbers saison, if that makes sense. fiulijn (21516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 10, 2013

Blond-golden color, with medium sized head. In the aroma there is some sugar, light vegetables, very light rubber. The carbonation is high, and the mouthfeel is smooth; the malt flavor is anonymous, sweetish; instead of the spicy yeasty character of a Saison (and astringency sometimes), there is more of an herbal touch, with rosemary and mint, and again an impression of stewed cabbage; correct bitterness.
One more unachieved American Saison.
