glennmastrange (2803) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - NOV 16, 2016
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2016 Bottle. Moderate grain and hay for the malt, moderate to heavy grass and lime for the hops, moderate musty farmhouse for the yeast, with wood, crabapple and dust in the background. Head is average size, frothy, white, with good slippery lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy medium amber. Flavor starts moderately acidic, then finishes moderately to heavily acidic, a little bitter and a touch sour. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation and a lightly dry finish. A superb Saison. If it had a touch more complexity in the flavor I’d say it was close to perfect.
