Deep orange-amber pour, nice white head. Tart aroma, sure, with some citrus but the yeasts carry the day. Taste is similar. Gorgeous tart saison with lots of citrus, blood orange and grapefruit, but again it’s the yeasts that work the magic. This is a brilliant beer and nearly impossible to do anything other than crush.
750ml bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead oversized wine glass.
A~ glowing orange, with a redish hue. pretty much looks like a blood orange! nice white fluffy head, with surprisingly no lacing.
S~ crazy citrus! sooo much lime! definitely a little blood orange in there too followed by that amazing peppery saison sensation, and some nice bready yeast.
T~ whoa! this really opens up here. the lime hits you right in the face, and the blood oranges give it a great juice like characteristic. next the hibiscus adds crazy floral notes that make this some what dry. followed by nice peppercorns, hop bitterness, then finally the belgium saison yeast and a little tartness on the way down.
M~ nicely carbonated, and pretty dry which is most likely from the hibiscus.
O~ sooo nice! this is gonna be in my top HF saisons for sure! theres a lot going but you can easily pick out one thing from another. i love how they manage the complexity of their brews. this is seriously solid, saison enthusiasts make sure you seek this one out! jrodooo5 (1720) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JUL 2, 2017
Fantastic pale gold pour w/ a bubbly white head & great lacing. The aroma is quite spicy & in line with the style. The taste is spicy up front & slightly tart in the finish. Complex, smooth, & delicious! Simply amazing! elbernays (1680) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUN 3, 2017

Pours a pretty clear golden color with a bit of a copper tint to it. small to medium white head. Nose of lemon sourness, a bit of flowery notes and some pale malt, hay notes. Taste is a bit sweet at first, then you get the medium tartness dry finish. Body is medium. it is easily drinkable and very well balanced.

750ml bottle, with a hazy blonde hue and a frothy white head. Very nice juicy lim, blood orange citrusy nose, with some funky wild, saison yeast, tart, sour rhubarb, subtle lemongrass, lemon pie crust, doughy accents and a bread dough, subtle sour green apple note in he aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good fruity zesty, spritzy juicy acidic lime, lemon, blood orange rind character, with some sour wild funky saison yeast, pale, wheat sour malt mash, subtle lemon pepper, sour rhubarb, sour green apple, faint flowery citrusy hop flavours, leading towards a nice quenching fruity sourness citrusy dry finish. slowrunner77 (12895) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAR 25, 2017
Light golden hazy orange.
Nice n refreshing aroma of oranges, farm and lime. Flavor and body are light and delicate. Blood orange shines, as does the yeast. Great starter to an epic share. Advocate_Ames (635) - Steubenville, Ohio, USA - FEB 24, 2017
Pours a semi hazy red orange color with a dissipating foam head that hugs my glass. The aroma is of fresh citrus, floral hops, yeast, hay, and malts. Tasting there is a citrus lime tart flavor, some acidity, subtle sweetness, very clean bitterness, and a crisp malted grain taste. The finish has a lime flavor lingers but soon fades. The bitterness is minor but enough to subdue the lime. I believe the blood orange might offer something to the bitterness that makes this unique. The body is spot on with good carbonation and mouth feel. It was also nicely balanced. Overall a drink worth trying. For me this is not an everyday drinker but each to their own. On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Bevuta a birre Sotto l’Albero 2016. Corpo medio, carbonazione leggera. Che meraviglia!
