500ml bottle poured into a Mikkeller wine glass.
A~ murky light orange, like a mimosa with some whiskey in it. small head and a good amount of lacing.
S~ citrusy hops up front, mostly orange and grapefruit. followed by some pils malt and wheat, ending with funky hay.
T~ more brett funk here other than that it pretty much follows the nose exactly!
M~ way thicker than i thought it would be, kind of ruins it a bit. nice carbonation though... of course haha
O~ its funny this what they intended this beer to be, i honestly like the Mikkeller version better. well i did... fresh that is, way too malty now. and the Chardonnay barrel aged version is just outstanding! i have a feeling this will age really well unlike the Mikkeller version which might be what they meant by original intent. a lot more brett funk then the original as well, which will probably mature nicely. johndoughty (5449) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2017
Can. Pleasant fruity aroma upon opening.Lovely balanced slightly fruity flavour. Not a lot of wheat flavour is present so that is probably why it was far better than I anticipated. glennmastrange (2871) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - SEP 24, 2016
Bottle. Moderate aromas all around with grain and cereal for the malt, herbs and pine for the hops, soap, musty and dank for the yeast, with wood and faint cider in the background. Head is average sized, frothy, white, with good slippery lacing and is fully lasting. Color is clear light amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation and a dry finish. A unique IPA, with some unique ingredients. electrotype (655) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 19, 2016
Shared bottle via PUB’R. Pours turbid golden with 2-finger, white head with spare lace. Nose is that great Maine/Vermont IPA nose, with honeydew melon, grapefruit, pineapple, hops, and a burst of florals. Tastes hoppy, floral, with melon, pineapple, pear, and a smooth finish.

backlog. 375ml bottle. Brewed at Hill Farmstead. Similar in look as the Mikkeller version, nose has more citrus and complex brett. Palate has a creamy lemony character, very much HF character. There is slight citrus hoppyness in the finish. But overall, this is incredibly awesome and showcases what Shaun Hill can do. Incredible stuff jukkar (132) - FINLAND - FEB 10, 2016
Nice hoppy aroma with citrus and floral. Beer is hazy, minimal head, golden color. Lightly bitter and astringent, long finish with fizzy carbonation. Very complex palate, difficult to analyze. Does not remind typical wheat beer because of hoppiness. Overall, I liked this a lot. SlackerMads (3360) - DENMARK - JAN 27, 2016
Bottle, mild gusher. Hazy golden with a medium sized white head with good retention and lace. Nose has lots of white wine, grapes, must, white pepper, white wood. Smells like chardonnay barrels. Flavour follows: flowers, white pepper, must, grapes, wood, white wine, fat. Medium body, lively carbonation, little sweetness, medium bitter, light acidic. Long funky finish, light astingent and light alcohol showing. A bit rough around the edges. Habanero (4680) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JAN 25, 2016
Tap. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma funk, spicy notes, wheat and citrus. Slightly sweet flavor that ends up dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A crisp and very nice IPA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 xfire73 (70) - - JAN 9, 2016
