Bottle... Murky amber pour with a large, frothy, white head that never fully dissolves. The bouquet is bursting-at-the-seams with fresh, juicy peaches and pears. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. The flavor is quite tart, but has some spicy farmhouse yeast characteristics that I can’t entirely sink my teeth into. Finishes tart, raspy and bone dry. The firm acidity saves this one for me. Bottle courtesy of ctipping!
Bottleshare: pours light amber with a white head. Aroma is light vinegar, faint fruits, funk. Taste is tart. Lightly sweet. Lingering aftertaste. Interesting notes in the taste. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - NOV 26, 2016
Amber of color with an off white head. An aroma of balsamic, malt, hops, bitter and weak sour. A flavor of hops, dry, malty, balsamic, bitter and fresh. ThirstyBird (2914) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2016
Thanks to Jason for the bottle! Pours a cloudy orange/brown with a light head. The smell is fruity, earthy, woody and funky. The taste is fruity, hint of balsamic, wood, funk, with a dry fruity end. Light/medium in body with an elegant, fine carbonation. Great as most HF beers are! bobinlondon (1295) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2016
Bottle shared at Red Squirrel Berkhampstead. Big thanks to Rian. Hazy orange with a white film. Amazing funky aroma and flavour. Smooth carbonation, gentle sourness with sweet malts and dry hoppy finish. Excellent! Mr_Abner (383) - Michigan, USA - MAY 13, 2016
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a slight, weak head. Smells of HF yeast. Taste is light to moderately tart. Light+ bodied; significantly under carbonated; drying finish. Tartness lingers... Very nice taste, but I really wish it wasn’t so under carbonated. Can’t imagine that was what Shaun was going for here.

Bottle. Pours hazy Amber, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is funk, caramel, grass, Brett, lemon. Flavor is light tart, light funk, hint of dark sugar, Brett and lemon. Light body. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 17, 2016
Gorgeous thick creamy head over a hazy golden/Amber pour. The aroma is
really earthy and herbal with a bit of vanilla and some light
fruitiness. There is a lactic sort of sourdough character and a bit of
grassiness. As it warms - the funkier notes really rise to the fore.
There is a bit of light fruitiness and a touch of oakiness on the
back. Lovely. RobertDale (6373) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - FEB 26, 2016
750 ml. shared bottle. Pours a somewhat hazy amber with a nice off-white head. Aroma of fruit and funk. Taste is citrus, stone fruit, malt, and funk. Nice tart Saison. JaBier (7806) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - DEC 24, 2015
Bottle shared by a friend. Clear gold to amber in color with a thin white head. Aroma of malt, funk, tart fruit and apricot. Malty and funky flavor with sour citrus before an apricot finish. Heather_B (254) - New Hampshire, USA - DEC 15, 2015
Amber pour with no head on 3.24.14 and a few more times after. Smell is sour and yeasty. Flavor is the same - fairly tart. Not much to it but the sourness is nice. Very drinkable and seems to be best after aging.
