Dark amber. Brown in the glass. 3 finger toasty head. Faded fast
Nose is bretty and bready. Sort of a cherry sour yeast note. Mango and vanilla
Taste is fantastic. A very complex beer. Mango, banana, vanilla, cherry, hint of Brett and very yeasty. Some grape skin tastes.

Pours a dark chocolate brown color with a one finger yellowish beige head that quickly settles into a thin lasting ring. Minimal spots of lace left behind.
Slightly funky, floral aroma with sweet and roasted dark malt notes. There’s a lot going on so the funky yeast gets a bit overpowered. Strong malt presence with rye, chocolate, toffee and caramel. Underneath, there’s some bready yeast and faint spices. Floral but not too much so because the malt character is so strong.
On the thinner end of medium bodied with lots of peppery spice that wasn’t evident in the nose. Lots of clove, pepper and rye followed by malt swetness and funky yeast. Very heavily spiced(too much so) and over carbonated with spices taking away from the funky yeast and sweeter flavors. Really powerful rye flavor that’s not just sweet but completely overpowering. poured from keg tap at the Cask, Pimlico, into a tulip (Feb ’12).
Pours a hazy mid to dark brown hue with a half finger of beige/off-white head.
The aroma is all about the yeast, bread, a little spice and background whiff of dried fruit.
Taste wise, pretty much marries the aroma, add to this earth, duck pond (yes - I have tasted one - not by choice!!!) and a little pinch of chocolate bringing up the rear!
The mouthfeel made this beer for me, not too much carbonation, medium to full in body with a great velvety/creamy sweet and sour aftertaste!
A beer I would happily re-visit!

On tap @ Boiler Maker. Poured a dark reddish brown with a big white head and ruby hues. Aroma is complex including plum, pumpernickel bread, genmai-cha roasted tea, and honey. On tap, pours a ruby wed, huge off white head, small to medium lacing. Aromas of green tea, berries, cranberry, honey, grape candy wood. Taste is filled with dark grapes, sugars, wood, hibiscus, sweet notes, cranberry, rye, chocolate, light coffee. Grape big league chew. From tap @Mikkeller Bar. A layer of beige bubbles over brown body with ruby edges. A wide range of aromas; Dark bread, red berries, rose water, perfume and sharpish herbal notes. Quite a pleasant mix, actually. Taste is dry and quite vinous. Light malt body. Berries and flowers, light spicy and herbal with a slight astringency to it, yet fresh and palate cleansing. Likeable.
