Dark amber color, almost flat. Nice malt aroma, caramel and vanilla, almost British, with some wood. Nice sweet malt and caramel syrup, with a light nutty side and very light vegetables; some vanilla oak too; correct bitterness, and very good alcohol management, Very pleasant. Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours an almost opaque nutty brown with a tiny off-white film of a head. Very sweet herbal - tobaccoish? - and caramellish aroma with quite some alcohol. Full and rich body, low carbonation, very sweet notes of overripe fruit - noble rot even - and nuts. Warming alcohol finish. Delicious even if a little hard to drink due to the high sweetness. But a pleasant sipper. 020911 Plovmand (8303) - Helsinge, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2011
