Brewed for the royal wedding. A fusion beer based on Belgian golden ale and honey ale. First gold, saazer and cascade hops along with Leatherwood honey from Tasmania gives a strong but soft beer. The hops reminds you however, that you are actually drinking beer.

Unclear golden body, with fast disappearing white head; Very malty nose with clear honey tones, not in the sweet way but in the spicy way; Soft and a little strange mouth, oily in a strange full way; Quite long strange finish, spicy again in this honey like way, together with a strange tickling feeling (again from the honey), bitter with oily fell.

Rather bland in colour and smell, slightly sweet though. ractically no head, but the taste surprises. Not alcoholic, but still strong with a sweet center.

A nice golden color with a lovely smell and taste of honey. Increadibly the Tasmanian honey pop up at the end of the experience, without making the beer to sweet.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2006 Pours a golden amber with a nice white head. Nice sweetness with fine aromas of honey. OK bitter finish. A bit disappointing from when I had it first time at CPH beerfestival. And not good value for money.

Bottled - trade with chris_o. A slightly hazy orange gold coloured beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and floral; at first a bit dull but the citricity develops steadily. The taste is quite heavy on the honey together with citric hops. A nice enough beer which carries off the honey without ever being cloying.

Golden with a good white head. Honey and malt aromas. The flavour is sweet with distinct hop notes, perhaps a bit nutty too.

Bottle. Pours golden amber with a white head. Peculiar sweet, hoppy, perfumy aroma with some flowery notes - dont really know what to think of it. Flavour is sweet, perfumy and flowery as well. Feels weird. Guess its because of the honey used, and it is kinda interesting, but it just doesnt do it for me. Alcohol is found too, but feels wellbalanced, which is nice. 10-10-05.

Hazy orange color with a half centimetre head. Not much honey in the aroma. Flavor is mostly like a lager. The honey isnt that distinct.

Bottle. Golden/orange color. White head. Perfumed and fruity smell. Sorry to say I didnt recognize the honey, but it was the last beer this evening, so I guess thats why. Not much written down about the taste either, other than it was a nice, quite fruity beer with a balanced bitterness to the end. Guess I have to re-rate this one day. (050923)

Have a very special parfumed smell and taste almost like vingums. But very nice looking label. The honey from Tazmania is not well used.
