DraftDodger (1455) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 12, 2017
Copenhagen 12/4 2017. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly in Middelfart. Murky bog on the label. I see no sign of the Bog Hag brewing obscure fluids. Pours clear dark brown with a gigantic light beige head. Settles beautifully as a fat 2,5 cm thick layer of creamy foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is of dark fermented fruit, smoke, Caramel and a hint of licorice. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lightly smoky. Pleasant enough take on a Scottish Ale.

Bottle at an inn in Denmark. Dark brown pour with a thin and short-lived tan head. Notes of roasted malts, smoke, cherries, dark chocolate. A bit too light bodied for the style.

bursprak (3183) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 4, 2016
Bottle @ the Dangerous Bottleshares Reunion/season premiere. Bronze pour with a humongous cream head. Notes of leather, red berries, malty sweet, band aids and a lingering tartness.

Vestergaard (2089) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2016
Bottle at the Dangerous Bottleshares Reunion/season premiere. This one in courtesy of Rasmus40. Pours a dark brown with a huge, off white head. Aroma has dark toasted malts, slight smoke, some leather, slightly sour. Taste is infected would be my guess. Rather sour, smokey, toasted, no sweetness. High carbonation and a rather light body.

God og spændende øl. Min første øl af denne type. Dejlig mid. Let røget. Måtte godt være mere bitter
