3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottel from Fonefan, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Coffee, caramel and maple syrup in the aroma. Licorice and coffee in the roasty maltflavor. White pepper. Sweet, hardly any carbon. Full bodied. Powerful imperial stout.
0.5 bottle. Clear, black color and no head whatsoever. Aroma of dark malts, tobacco, coffee, and some roast. Taste is malty, a tad roasty, sweet, somewhat fruity too. A full body, a creamy texture, and an absolutely flat carbonation. Finish is long and sweet, relatively fruity as well. Overall a simple beer, it is hard to spoil an imperial stout but this one is certainly not worth its name or price. Milter (944) - Nyborg, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2016
Imperial stout er altid godt, Men deen er ikke den bedste af typen. Men stadig begelig fyldig smag. Yorker (2006) - Herning, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2014
50 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with a tan head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are nuts, herbs, and chocolate - with a dry finish. martin00sr (4041) - Haderslev, DENMARK - NOV 10, 2014
Black with frothy, light beige head. Roasted, fruity aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has raw licorice and good, but rough hoppy bitterness. Alcoholic, bitter finish. Lowenbrau (4277) - Asturias, SPAIN - OCT 7, 2014

In short: watery Imp. Stout.
Pours quite dark with almost no head, no lacing. Roasty, coffee, some acid malt aromas. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is roasty, alcohol noticed, some acid notes. Enjoyable. Some more malt bill would make this beer a real nice one.
Lots of malt and hops as well. Rich roasted flavor. Complex beer but no foam. PotjeBier (3348) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - AUG 8, 2014
UPDATED: AUG 10, 2014 50 cl bottle @ home, about a year old (bought during honeymoon in Denmark). Deep dark color (not quite black). No head. Aroma’s of chocolate, dried fruit, syrup. Flavor is rather sweet, dried fruit, chocolate-y. Alcohol warms. Medium to full bodied. Hardly any carbo. Finishes slightly dry, no new flavors. More going towards quad (or barley wine) than impy. Not too bad though. brnandersen (3905) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 11, 2014
Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Dark brown colour with a thin, tanned head. Sweet aroma with roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel, light nuts and dark, dried fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter with chocolate and coffee. A lighter Imp. Stout as the label claims. Still a nice beer. olio (10274) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 20, 2014
50 cl bottle @ Timo A.jaghana (6070) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - AUG 10, 2013
Pours surprisingly light, clear reddish color with a minimal head. Aroma of plums, some caramel malts, roasted notes and licorice. Flavor of raisins, plums, some caramel malts, sugary notes, syrup and wood. Very sweet and ripe fruity palate, sugary sweet finish. Clearly more like a barley wine than an imperial stout. Decent anyway.
Bottle 50cl from Henrik thanks. A brown beer without head ! Nose is on sweet caramel and prune / quetsches. Aroma is very sweet, vinous, lot of dray grapes, near to French muscat vine. Finish has chocolate notes and again sweet caramel and dry fruits notes with wood touch. Why is that referenced as Imperial stout ?
