Bottle bought in Denmark, pours black with a taupe head. Coffee, prune and a little milk chocolate nose, dry-sweet body with burnt dried fruit and a little liquorice, finishing with burnt bitterness and milk chocolate. Beer5000 (6616) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 29, 2013
500 ml bottle sampled in 2010. Dark reddish brown body with a nice beige head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate and liquorice. Flavor is sweet, not heavy roasted malt, hint of liquorice, chocolate and dry cocoa powder with moderate bitterness. Fine body and bitter aftertaste that’s close to dry. OK and a bit different stout. Quite enjoyable after a few sips.
