Sampled at Chris_o’s Shindig: Sourish, grapy aroma; light bodied, hints of raisin and prune; somewhat acidic; rather dry finish; a bit dull. Never would have pegged this as a Schwarzbier.

Bottle. Black with a medium good lasting nicely lacing beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and bitter. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation. Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a offwhite head. Aroma of raosted malt, coffee and dark fruit, raisins. Taste is raisted malt, bitter coffee, licorice. Thin to medium body, sour aftertaste

Botella. BB August 2008. Pitch black colour with a medium light brown head. Aroma of dark fruits and roasted malt with some chocolate. Good soft mouthfeel. The flavour has a good soft roasted maltiness with dark fruits, some chocolate, mild bitterness and a little coffee towards the end. Tasty brew. Bottled. Brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is slightly acidic coffee and some bittering hops. Flavour is acidic and sour fruits along with some coffee.
